So what did you do to your 928 Today......

I didn’t do it all in one day but last week I installed a:
Starter, spark plug wires, distributor cap’s and rotors, the outer door seals both sides and a bulb.
Brother can you spare a dime?

Fuel Pump & Filter Installation
Went to Sean's to have the fuel pump & filter replaced. The hose
from tank to pump was badly damaged and needed to be replaced.
I got a special delivery from the Parts Extraordinaire himself ... Roger Tyson!
Thanks guys!

Installed a subwoofer to round out the sound with Hans most excellent front speakers. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_777B8PT...Sound+Ordnance
Granted, it's not totally stealth, but it sits behind the rear passenger seat and can't be seen from the front. Powered unit, so minimal requirements for running wires. Easy adjustment from the head unit, so it doesn't need a separate remote. It's not a unit to make the whole car vibrate, but that wasn't what I was looking for. Overall, I'm pleased with the sound improvement it provides. And if I want it gone, it's just 3 quick disonnects and back to stock.

Snuk off from wiring the workshop, repairing the fridge, busting concrete, and working on the house AC install....put the lower air filter box supports on, and the lower box half back on...

Installed my clear side marker lights and LEDS as well as the LED+relay for the flasher.
Works great, looks even better! Especially on a silver car!
Tip. If you plug one of your LEDs into the side markers and it doesnt illuminate, check the wiring on the socket. For some reason my aft left was bassackwards and the bulb didnt light up. Of course i checked for 12 volts and the "regular" bulb worked fine.............BUT... LED's care about polarity.

I put 'er up on the rack and changed the oil and filter. Checked the oil pan bolts and found they all needed a little firming up. I took a few photos with the belly pans off. Some oil dirtied up the oil pan area but looks good otherwise. No other leaking fluids! Yayyy!

Finished up the TB/WP, new Cam gears, and installed the new Behr radiator. Replaced the power steering reservoir hoses, changed oil/filter, G-05 coolent, and water wetter, new heater valve and short hose. Car runs fantastic. Gonna give it a good wash and wax, drive over to the "M" Resort for brunch.
I'd like to thank my good friend Mark Allen for coming over and helping me out this past week. He made the whole process fun and productive. BTW, this was my first TB/WP change out, and I'm running one of Ed's Guardian pumps, along with a Portensioner. This should be a great test of the pump in the Vegas heat.
Also having a lift beats the hell out of laying on your back! Some of the best money I've ever spent.

Played around with the zinc chromate kit I bought -- in between shoveling snow. I could see this becoming compulsive.

Hard wired my new V1 radar detector (happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me.....) and made new locating pins through the CEL cover for the right kick panel. Should stay in place now.
