Default Red Power

Flew to NYC and installed a rotrex kit into Carlos's red 88 S4. What a great guy, and an awesome family. We installed the kit right in the driveway with the assistance of some small helper hands Btw... sorry about that fuel stain on your asphalt, hope the rain washes it away. Enjoy the boost

That's a sharp kit, when did they hit the market?
Looks a bit retro (fittingly so), but tidy.
Is that little OEM over the radiator intake a bit of a restriction?

Almost makes me want an S4.

Almost.

I'd like to hear one that is being provoked....

Thanks.... We have only been selling the kits for a couple of months now. Selling them on ebay for now, the web site is almost ready. Lots of options, but I cant discuss much here untill I have my sponsor/advertiser account setup on rennlist. So pm me if you want more info.
That inlet over the radiator actually works very well. Its 3 inches in diameter, same as the supercharger inlet, so no power loss. Especially with the John Kuhns twin intake snouts.
It works just fine on the S3 btw... you just need to go around the big intake, no big deal

Victor! I have a second interview Friday that holds a nice pay raise if promoted. Have to give a thirty minute presentation followed by fifteen minutes of question/answer. If all goes well I will be asking you some questions regarding that nice little supercharger kit

Other news, discovered a huge spider crack in my driving light lens on passenger side. Must have been a hefty rock at speed on way back from Hershey. What a bummer!

Checked the bee sting antenna as my FM reception was a bit patchy and have noted that reception tends to drop off when not all that far from the metro areas. Getting 12V to the amplifier in the antenna. Cleaned the antenna coaxial cable connection. Will now monitor and see if reception is better. If not then I will look to replace with new antenna.

Got my new Hankook Evo's mounted on the 18" Cayman S wheels... 235/40 and 265/35.

Wow... What a difference over the 6 year old 16" Yokohama's!

Light stuff.
Cleaned the Siede Grau Leder mit 'Mr Clean Eraser' sponges. Really made a difference - where there were creases I ran parallel with them and cleaned them out ! Then 'Mother's Conditioner' with lanolin.
Also, installed superflux 4 chip LED in each license plate housing to help with the conservation of power. Side markers next.

Silk Gray Leather

Nice wheels and tires nc_growler.

All I did to my 928 2day is put gas in it and drive it.
I have lots to do, . . . I just find it hard to work on it when I can drive it.

Nothing done yet, however awaiting the extensive body panels repair return of my car are a whole lot of 928 parts goodies. Oh yeah: I'm a big believer in preventive maintenance - I rather swap upfront (whenever I can afford €€€/$$$ wise, as it still does not grow in trees either here in Finland ) before things break when on a long (or short) drive...(not showing a new O2 sensor and what is on the 2nd photo):

And if you ever have 2€/2-3$ spare do yourself a favour and order one of these (in the hope that you will never have to take it out once you put it in it's correct place), 928 722 107 01:

You seem to be able to afford Porsche branded Spark Plugs, I bet they were more than $1.50 each (inc p&p), which is what I paid for GM branded WR7DC+ recently.

You can really keep maintenance costs down if you are willing to buy aftermarket rather than Porsche branded, for instance Intermotor sensors and ignition parts, Laso water pumps etc.
