"great deal" S4 not so great deal.
I've been going through the 89' fixing little things, replaced radiator to eliminate oil in the water. Fixed the sunroof. Went to align the front end....
Followed Bill's writeup along with the WSM....
Hmmm. Aluminum ball cap... Hmmm. OB Brakes?!.. Hmmm. Front arms have a "79" model year in the casting.
THE WHOLE SUSPENSION ON THE CAR HAS BEEN SWAPPED WITH A 79.....
How the F@#! did I miss this???? I guess I was blinded by the price and the overall look of the car (and no TBF)...
I haven't checked the rear end yet. Ever just have one of those years???

I wonder if there's any legal recourse in this situation, You bought a '89 car...So you should have a '89 car not an '89 with '79 parts. Have you tried to contact the seller about this?
