This really erks me. Guy had the ***** to swap out suspension by asking R-listers for help, then posts the donor car back on THIS FORUM without disclosing what he did? Bad taste doesn't even begin to describe tactics like that. Mike, really sorry this has happened to you.

Auctioneer friend of mine told me this many years ago,

"if you want to get what you expect, inspect"

Hopefully the parties involved can sort this out off line, its simply too serious to speculate about.

Mike, That ****-roach screwed you, and knows it. I would be looking at some type of legal action. Maybe snagging that Lambo, or something of equal value. After that; a well earned *** BEATING! That bastard needs to be black balled from this forum.

I spoke with the seller (BB79) this morning. He insists that he was trying to tighten the ball joint, not loosen it as it says in the "S4 ball joint" post (above). He says that the guy he sold it to before me must have swapped the parts. I got this buyers name, it's Steven Guider. He supposedly stripped the rear ac unit and the brakes/suspension while he had it a short time. Anybody know this guy?

I should have noticed this, but I was too focused on TBF and engine condition. Could never have imagined someone putting OB brakes on an S4.......

Let me do some more investigation before we call the lynch mob. I've got lots of friends in law enforcement. I'll call favors from all of them.

I have complete suspension for S4 for sale (minus the brakes) and a rear center console for the rear ac delete .

Hey, that is probably a better option. But I still have the center console for the rear a/c delete, Joey's is toasted.

You could go through a lifetime and not have a statement like that make sense .

Yeah no luck at all... But I still love em' WTF is wrong with me?!?!?!

The rear console is still there and in good shape, it's the actual AC unit that is missing.

Where's the crispy S4 now?

Did the previous guy he sold it to have a '79?

Mike, I agree on good inspection, but thats also why I sometimes pay a little more to buy from RL members as I don't need to inspect it or even be in the same state as the person.

I really hate when this happens with member to member transactions........
