Mike, I agree on good inspection, but thats also why I sometimes pay a little more to buy from RL members as I don't need to inspect it or even be in the same state as the person.

I really hate when this happens with member to member transactions........
It just goes to show you. It doesn't matter how many 928's you've had, or worked on. It doesn't matter if you're buying it from a stranger, or your brother. You could miss something! Get a PPI!

I don't think Mike should have to spend any more money to get what he has already paid for. The seller should refund the purchase price. He said himself that he just wanted to sell it to a deserving person, and that money was not the issue. Let him put his money where his mouth is. All the stealing and lying is supposed to done by congress, where we can keep an eye on them. Not by members of rennlist.

I think he knows the difference by these posts.

I'm just trying to keep the vomit down today. Maybe BB79 will be able to recover the parts from the previous buyer?

The question is, does bb79's 79 now have an s4 suspension?

Still not clear..... If he knows the difference 79vs87, then he knew that there was something wrong with the 87 front suspension?????

Yes he does. Although the post is now deleted he stated in Gio's thread about brakes and suspension that he paid $XXXX to get S4 brakes and suspension

Now will the casting numbers be the same year as the car sold? Well it is interesting that he has a 79 and there are 79 casting numbers on the ones now..........

Try to resolve it in a calm manor,or think of it this way,if you put everything new on it,your good to go,steering racks go out anyway over 100k mileage, you were gona need it anyway, its that or you go to his house.Did i mention i have a lucious 89 928 very well sorted all it needs is a cv boot in the back ,its on auto trader.
