I had to take the rear end out of the 78 to do some stuff I felt would be easier on some jackstands instead of under the car:

Please don't laugh if you see anything funny in the garage. Its a shared space. (Me, my wife, and my son)

I thought this was kind of a cool pic with the car fender in the background:

COOL!

I think we need to re-title this thread though

Brendan, did you replace any of the bushings in the upper links or anything in the lower control arm? I know there are part numbers for most the stuff there, but i cant recall EVER reading about someone thats done it.

I tried to change the title. It doesn't change.

Upper and lower arms have new bushings. The lowers are not made any more. Uppers are available from alot of people.

Are your tires on the wrong sides? Or do you like the feeling of hydroplaning.

Great stuff, Brendan. I hadn't seen these pics before. The thread title thhrew me off, since I'm not shopping for a Scat crank.

Hey Randy, lil help with the thread title?

So Brendan, what are you using for a rear shift coupler?

Thanks Guys. The tires are backwards - they were just on there to keep the car off the ground if you know what I mean. The black wheels is what he car is actually getting (for now).

The rear shift coupler is a "flaming river" universal steering joint that I modified the splined shaft to work with.

For a second I thought your were thinking of moving the engine to the back and the tranny to the front.

Brendan,
Notice how he wrote adding... instead of removing? Much improved. Car's looking great!
