    Hi BC,

    I am buying a motor from Kevin that was once yours. You were running E85 on that motor. Could I trouble you to know when you changed the water pump and timing belt? I will change the belt, but the water pump I have heard if they aren't leaking to leave them alone.

    Brendan I enclosed some directions for the shifter install, I think that I reversed the motor end with the tranny end in the picture. I did a mirror image of the set up on my cad and printed the picture without thinking about it. So the instructions that are enclosed are reversed. So reverse the motor end and tranny end, in the picture, and the direction that you need to move the pivot assembly if the shifter contacts the pivot assembly.

    Also the OEM shifter has square corners, the shifter that I made has a full radius on the end of it providing more clearance than the OEM so if you want more shifter travel grind a full radius on the end of the OEM shifter

    Hey dude. Back and still getting settled in. This car is sitting on the side of the road on PCH in Malibu. Only spent a minute looking at it but it has been for sale forever...so something must be wrong with it. Have you heard anything about it? It's only the second time I've seen this color, Frusengruen, and the only other car was this woman in Beverly Hills and her ex husband had shipped it in from Germany. This one isn't that car cause this one has less miles.

    Crank was drilled by Jay Steel at Taylor Machine. Great place, Great guy. Unfortunately Jay passed this year.

    Yes, I used a Pan girdle/spacer made by Mike Simard. It strengthens the webbing as well as spacing the pan.

    Mike Simard owns Simard Tool. I would try contacting him at the Pelican site.

    The spacer is okay with the IJ system, but some stuff must be changed. And with that much space added, you MUST use Mike's Studs. I don't know if he has made any more however.
