Man you guys make this really hard to resist. I'd be there worn out struts and all but I'll be out of town from this Sunday until that Saturday morning and on top of that I have my kids that weekend!

OK who is going to start the phone list?

Maybe we should break off into groups.

Maybe based on what direction people are coming.

For example

CurlyDe and I are coming from the south. Anyone else coming from that direction should coordinate with me or Curly to organize that. and the same for the other directions. Does that work for yous guys?

BTW Ahmet - I think a lot more people than "1.5" (? - I hope I count for more than half a person) are coming to Raleigh. Read some of the previous posts, there is a bigger list.

Where and when will we meet in Charlotte?

 

I think we should wait to determine the when / where time until we know when the autoX is going to start. I do not recall seeing a time posted here or on CCR's solo2 site.

 

I posted this to the 928 board and no response. Guess they don't want to hang with their half-engine brothers.

By the way, IF (50/50 chance) I'm unable to get the car working properly (see post about fuel injectors) but the time we are meeting (2 weeks?) can I possibly meet someone in Raleigh and head down? It would be company for the drive. I've got new fuel injector seals but am back up in Greenville with the car in Jacksonville, can't exactly work on it. I want to try to get it running this weekend, but if the seals are the problem I'm SOL until I can find some 89 fuel injectors at someplace other then the dealer.

When we get to Charlotte, I propose that we meet at the Winn Dixie at the corner of Harris and Sharon Amity. It's a straight shot from there to the auto-x.

Leftlane- was in Todd today, now I know where it is.

 

The auto-x started at 12pm last time I attended it, I assume that's when it'll start this time as well...

Matt, you have mail. I've forwarded the mail I've recieved with the e-mail address, we should post a list of all the e-mails we've sent early next week to make sure we're not leaving anybody out, on this board.

Dave, that sounds good to me however I'm not very familiar with charlotte I'm sure we can work something out. It appears that I'll be bringing a few buddies along (BMW drivers) who're familiar with the charlotte area as well.

I got an email the other day from someone on the 928 forums. He mentioned meeting up for the drive to Charlotte ... so add one more to the list. I will call him tomorrow to verify. I'm not sure what name he posts under.
