Matt you're more than welcome to ride with me down to the Auto X. I was kind of bummed you couldn't make it to our last VA/DC/MD meet, so I'd be more than happy to help you out here.
I sent my cell phone number to Ahmet and told him to pass it along (this is for the Raleigh meeters), so hopefully it's making it's way around.
Trying to find some 951 S sways (+droplinks/bushings) to put on before the autoX...anyone know of any?

We started an e-mail list but I don't like the idea of forwarding it from/to each person.
People who want to meet in Raleigh e-mail me w/phone #s once--> over1g@hotmail.com
I will start a new post showing the list of e-mails I've gotten on sunday and record them on my computer as well. I will also see where you guys want to meet and make/print driving directions from our meeting point to the auto-x, we'll also go over the main stuff here on the board.

Mainly what we need is location and time. If there are people who are coming from the south email me mark22615@hotmail.com.
CurlyDE and a Chris from the 928 board are coming on Sat. I will already be in town Friday.

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but according to CCR's site the autoX is no longer at the mall. It has been moved to the Knight's stadium. Just wanted to make sure that everyone knows. Times, etc ... for the autoX are posted on the site also. Check it out <a href="http://www.ccrsolo2.org/event/future/f08312002.html" target="_blank">here</a>.

OK-
We need to set up a meeting place since they moved the location. Anybody have any ideas? Since some will be coming down I-40/I-77, I propose that we pick a place on I-77S, south of the I-85/I-77 junction. Or, we could meet at the intersection of Harris and I-85 and proceed from there. There is a large shopping mall at that exit with large parking lots. From there, we could take I-85 south to I-77 south to the site. Any ideas or comments?

I-77 and W. W.T. Harris Bvld is probably as good as any to meet. There is a rather large gas station/restaraunt 1/8 mi east of I-77 on the N side of the intersection. (I think it's a Texaco)
There's plenty of parking and another restaurant right next door.

OK, I've not really recieved many e-mails. Is that e-mail getting around w/people's phone#s?
I'm really OK with meeting anywhere in Raleigh for the drive down to Charlotte, we could stop somewhere in/around charlotte before going to the auto-x to take pics etc.
So what's the consensus here?
PS: I'm planning a trip with a few people to boone/mountains in NC if anybody's up for that THIS weekend let me know...

I'm okay with either location, what do you guys think? Meet at an agreed location at around 10am, then drive to the auto-x. From the auto-x we could go to a local restaurant, I'm a bit partial to the Southend Brewery. Comments???

Dave, if you mean meeting either in Charlotte or Raleigh I'd like to do raleigh.
BTW, what do you mean 'after' the auto-x? I'm planning to spend a few hours in a hotel there and actually be AT the auto-x at least 16 hours through that day...
