Fuel filter. Runs worse now then it did with the gunked up one. I don't understand this car. Every time I try to do something nice for it, it rewards me by running like $h!t.

 

mine plays that trick too. she runs like a top if i drive her hard though. i guess its the same as women who dont like "nice guys"...

 

My ignition trim piece came in yesterday that I broke while replacing my dash. It is now installed thus completing my dash replacement.

stogie25, did you use a paint on your dash?

 

The top is upholstered in black . The bottom is a leather dye my upholsterer used.

 

Got asked the question; "Hey is that the car they used in 'Back to the Future'?". I said "No, that's a Delorean".

It really bothered me... that someone could know so little about "Back to the Future"!!!!

 

Found out for the second time, that my throttle sticks... While merging on the highway... Behind a Uhaul truck. Can you say "need new shorts"?

 

Got my car back from the shop after new oil pan gasket, rod bearings, and engine mounts.

Gave her a good wash today!

 

HAHA - i just did the same thing...cars runs worse, idle jacked up...I'm with you...

 

I bought a sunroof delete roof skin and some new brakes. Then I continued to strip the interior

 

Washed it (finally).
Replaced thermo fan switch thing.
Fixed grinding noise coming from exhaust in left turns (hanger was touching body) - sounded like a dud bearing.

My car is factory sunroof delete so I didn't have to order a skin today.

 

I painted my fuch rims to match my car.
I picked up my sunroof bag..had it embroidered with "PORSCHE" in the color of the car.
Tomorrow I'm doing some baking.. taking off the rear bumper end caps and placing them in the oven to get them back to the original shape.
May paint my 951 rear valance.

 

Replaced the windshield washer bottle

 

Installed the nissan quest alternator (see the turbo forum for my comments).

Tomorrow I'm going to install my Rennbay headlight kit , give her a good wash..... and because I tried to improve my 944, the gods will shine down on me, and I'll be walking home from the carwash, and probably miss work on monday LOL

 

Took the nose panel off in preparation for a repaint (panel and right fender).
