Picked up my 931 from the body shop, had the nose panel straightened as it had some dents and it was sagging. Planning to paint it in the weekend !

lack of secondhand spares or junked 944's has forced me to look overseas a few times, having bought from pelicanites, rennlisters, etc.

I've found some Japanese auctions to be very good so last month I bought a new front valence without the foglight option and a turbo rear valence.

Yesterday I won auctions for a complete RoW front bumper, complete left and right doors (c/w mirrors, glass, window motors and interior trim), a set of 7x16" and 9x16" clubsport wheels, S2 inlet manifold and S2 airbox. I only need the door cards but the cost of the doors is less than what I would get charged for just the door cards! I don't really need the front bumper, just the light brackets with the bumperettes but a spare set of lights are handy.

(freight, taxes, etc all sorted to my door by an agent)

I'm waiting for another set of D90's to come up so I can have a square set of 8" ti keep and have a set of 4x 6"s or staggered set of 6"s and 7"s to sell.

drove it to work this morning, and learned that the adjustable cam gear is detrimental to cold tires staying hooked up

Moved out of my old apartment and drove across TX in it. No problems at all except when I went out to mess with it an hour after shutdown, the fans were still running. That's the 3rd fan switch in 2 years... holy ****, how hard is it to get a good replacement? Ordered Wahler brand from Pelican every time.

I think I'm going to go to a manual switch until I get standalone running - at which point I can use the coolant temp signal to activate a switching relay right at 75 deg.C
