I sealed the lamps with aluminum tape and the shrouds do a good job of covering the whole front of the lights. I'll take a couple pictures of the assembles with the tape.

The whole assembly will be behind plexiglass.

Spencer, I could make more sets. Just the lights, wiring, and brackets would be $400.
I'd have to work out a price with the header panel and plexiglass after I get mine done.

I do like the look of that purple car with the slits in the lights, I have considered making something like that and I think I have enough of my paint left to do the covers...

The supports bars/brackets are 1" X 1/8" steel. The Mounting brackets are 4 1/2" wide x 1/8" inch thick aluminum plate.

I used the blue painters tape(in some of the pics) to show a straight line across the front of the car and the two shorter pieces of tape to show where the bend line is in the header panel/light covers. I put the front edge of the straight blue tape at the header panel bend line on each side and installed the steel support bar just behind and slightly below the straight blue tape.

These pictures are with the original brackets which I discarded. The current bracket(which is much easier to make) is shown in the pictures from last night.

Nice work , but not even what is useful flying down the wide open western road.

The Euro lenses spread the light correctly. Those are tunnel vision at 65 mph - maybe less.

The bad cell phone pictures don't show the light pattern very well. These lights light up the whole road and even the sidewalks. I had a set of euro lenses with a very well done wiring kit on my 86 951 and those lights aren't even close to these.

This weekend: New timing belt, New balance shaft belt, removed the oil cooler to put new seals in. That oil cooler is a real pain the rear to get out. I had to remove the power steering pump to get it out, so now I am also rebuilding the power steering pump, since it's out anyway.

Installed the two windshield seals on the windshield sides..looks good. Worked with some parts on holding on the front apron..still not smart enough to figure out where the braces and rad scoop go since they were missing when I got the car..exploded view not telling me all that I want to know. Still pondering seat swap from '88 with electric Recaro to earlier manual (83)...need help with wiring on that job..any help out there?

Thanks, Tiger 03447

Installed a new clutch over the weekend. Jeez that's a helluva job to do on jackstands in two days. I'm glad I got a nice durable clutch so I don't have to replace it for a couple years.
