drove it 65 miles across the top of LA at 4AM again...averaged 85-90 the whole way.

flawless.

am chasing down a pinging sound that occurs in the 2000rpm range in any gear at WOT, i took the brute force approach saturday morning by applying a 50/50 mix of 91 and 100 octane, cutting ignition timing in that rpm/load range by 5 degrees and by setting target AFR to 10.3 instead of 12.8. despite the low timing and crazy richness the car feels like it pulls the same in that range, but no more pinging...so now we'll see what was the actual fix.

I got it running again!!!!

After chasing down too many issues with the wiring to count (thanks to the POs hackjob) it's finally running.

All I have to do is put the dash back together and whip up a mount for the push button start.

I would also like to know about how those Vitaloni mirrors are mounted? are they screwed to the flag mirror base? Those look awesome!

I know I do lol sorry!

It's definitely going on it's maiden voyage this weekend though so I'll snap a picture when it's finally out of the garage and in decent light.

Still looking for a 924 rear hatch for it. Most people don't want to ship them and finding one locally has yielded no results so far.

If I come across another I'll ship it for you.
There's a 924 hatch on Austin, TX craigslist, maybe give him a shout.

The last few days had the windscreen replaced, prepped the front bumper for paint. This for the silver+blue 931.
Today i want to spray the bumper and start prep for the chin spoiler.

I'd like to give my appreciation to those lovely people who leave nails lying around in the road. Thanks a bunch!

Last few days: Only944's inner/on body sunroof seal, and did what the TSB said for the airbox/belt cover vent. Parts were $12 from the dealer.
