What did you do to your 924/944 today

Today's work: replace DME temp sensor, coolant flush, inspect water pump, replace hatch lock seal.
...and I found this crack in the expansion tank cap

So this happened today....
Still needs a bunch of work...but it runs, drives, and shreds tires.
Seriously, traction is a problem. I borrowed some 225/16 until I get rear tires for my 18x10 twists and they'd spin with zero effort. It's a monster, at least to me anyways.

The video doesnt do it justice, its loud enough to hear from a few block away, it just pounds your chest sitting in it at idle. I got to take that car for a spin as well as ride along in it and it definitely fits into the category of "Scary fast". It pretty much boiled the tires at will in 1st and 2nd, which is all I used when I drove it. Even with LSD it gets sideways entirely too easily.
Time will tell if it's as fast at the blue turbo'ed S in the first frame

In the past few days I have replaced the 02 sensor and cleaned & refurbed the throttle body with the Arnworx TB kit, Still evaluating, but so far it seems to have made an overall improvement in the way the engine runs.

painted, painted painted. only one fender remains, repaired bumper ends, in process of remanufacturing a bumper pad where the interior steel disintegrated. Next step will be to find a windshield with an antenna and change the broken windshield (anyone got a used windshield on left coast?)

Put my driver's side mirror back together after it fell apart... Also added weather pack connectors for the wiring where the mirror meets the door, so if I ever have to take it back off, I won't have to cut any wires...

I bought a bunch of parts last night so I can pull my intake in the near future and do the venturi delete. After that I just started him up so I could work on the Ford (typical) in the garage.
Anybody know if the foam-backed intake manifold gaskets are reusable?

In the junkyard the other day was an LT1 Camaro ripe for picking...

I installed the round performance throttle cam, I like it, nice little inexpensive mod.
