Took the shifter boot off & crazy glued the white plastic back that shows P R N D 2 1 .

Went to German Performance in Ft. Lauderdale and had my cooling fan issue fixed, and also my dash gauge light fuse issue so now i can drive with a cool water temp and actually see my temp gauge. ( & my speedometer. )

I got a new clutch. Old one had started slipping on WOT and when we removed it was about 4mm thick and well past use by date. While this was happening was given an 88 944 S2 to drive so was interesting to see what a 3ltr NA was like. I can see why ppl would like them as a DD or as a track car, as very solid down low but to be honest, I just missed having boost and the exhaust note of my Fabspeed set up.

It didn't feel like there was any point revving it out and top end on this car was very buzzy and had a sort of fragile feeling, when compared to my turbo. Anyway I haven't stopped smiling while driving my car, since I got her back. I also had a guy at the lights say to me he loved how my car sounded and was only driving with his windows down to hear it, which was cool. I shouldn't complain having a 944 S2 as my loan car but it sure made me appreciate how nice my car really is

I got new rims
They are 3 piece forged fuchs style rims ,7.5 and 8.5x16 , they need a good cleaning.
Tried the 8.5's front and back ,they fit great in the front and in the back looks like i'm going to leave the factory 20mm spacers on.

Did you make any fitment tests with these dimensions? They sound spot on to me too but it might be worth buying or borrowing two shot tires for a fitment test..just to be sure they wont look too different front to back and they will tuck nicely under the fenders.

they should be spot on , anyway i need to stick to those dimensions as here in Italy is mandatory to use only what is specified by the manufacturer for your car.

The tablet goes in tight like it was made for that spot . It's connected via aux to the head unit behind it that i pushed down to make room, i just need to make the head unit housing more presentable.

Installed new struts and shocks on car which led to alignment which led to car still drifting to right after alignment which led to finding slack in ball joint which led to rebuilding ball joints which led to seeing red goo around water pump which led to removing front of engine and draining fluid which led to dropping nut in fluid and removing with a magnet which led to seeing metal filings on magnet from coolant which led to removing radiator which led to installing new radiator and water pump. Damn alignment shops!

Unfortunately "they" didn't do the work other than the alignment, I did. And I have the cut up knuckles. And fingers to prove it
