I hope I don't regret it since I didn't do my research first. I have seen it in other 944's and liked very much they way they looked. Either way I had this car for 13 years and was getting ready to let her go until last week when I drove around and fell for it all over again. Wish me luck and I'm glad so far to find this site!
Did you order spacers/adapters? Turbo twists don't fit early offset cars without them.

New shocks on all 4's are next.
I have a hum, and its my torque tube. Not looking forward to that job.

I've got nightmares about mine. We had the tt on the ground in no time. Getting the shaft out of the tt was a different story. One of the bearings was stuck on the shaft so I had to hammer the bearings out with the shaft. The 100+ degree temp didn't help. Blood, sweat, and dehydration.

Blew out my clogged brake line with some compressed air. I also found a bunch of gunk in my brake fluid reservoir, so I cleaned that out too (probably why the line got clogged). I cleaned up and installed my timing belt covers, wrestled my cooling fans back in (what a PITA), discovered that my coolant leak was just a loose clamp, and removed my calipers so they can be cleaned, painted, and rebuilt. Goals for tomorrow: take apart the calipers so I can start cleaning them and cut my cat off so I can get my chambered muffler welded on.

Can anyone on here around the Baltimore area weld this for me? The muffler shop won't weld it on because they claim it's illegal, even though my car is old as **** so doesn't have to pass inspections anymore

The wheels come with spacers, so I should be good to go. However, I have been reading around and I saw comments on other things I need to do in order to ensure that when the wheels are installed there are no issues. Any advice??

Flushed my brake/clutch lines with denatured alcohol and elcheapo brake fluid, cleaned out my brake fluid reservoir, and soaked the nuts/bolts for the hanger with Kroil oil so I can remove the hanger and cut my cat off. Hopefully my brake caliper rebuild kit will be here on Friday so I can get this car back on the road!

I just arrived back home from a 10 hour trip, 800 miles. where my 87 preformed flawlessly at sustained 80MPH and a few short bursts to 100. Also had some nice southeast spring time weather. Ignore the busted windshield.

Turbo twist wheels are installed and now I have to find out why I have a vibration on the steering wheel when I go over 50 mph. Any thoughts or advice? It will be greatly appreciated.
