Forgot: scored this awesome dvd at goodwill!!! It's from 2001 (SO OLD), has videos on the 917, 930 turbo, and "A LeMans Retrospect" also has a really old PC dayplanmer/calendar and screen savers it says "Rare racing footage, interviews and close-up looks at 1-of-a-kind cars make this collector's set 1 that every enthusiast will want to see and own"

I started watching it- a little boring, kind of a museum background video documentary. But it's COOL

looked under the hood, almost took the air filter out to see if oil was getting in there but got lazy just checked my oil was the same as before, ended up just going for my date. Tomorrow I will recheck oil and check the air filter, if there is oil i take off and plug the tube from the timing belt to air filter box, I have good compression on all 4 so i can't really see it getting pressurized, My oil pressure is always at 4-5 at idle it goes to 3 so maybe thats a problem causing the oil leak ? either that or some how the balance shaft seal is leaking again >.<

I'm pretty sure you would have to have a gusher to get ANY oil in the airbox from the timing belt coveres. If you're getting oil into the intake then it's probably the AOS seals.

My belts seem dry, I run my finger around the front to check for oil, I get just a light film. There is a little drip on the left side where you attach the bottom cover but that might just be water mixed with old oil from the cover. The oil pan gasket seems wet on the front. And I get a small amount of oil on the bottom of the Pan. Now the weird part, there Is oil on the under side of the intake boot, and the metal part that connects to the air filter. To me that tells me it's coming from the balance shaft or crank seal and flinging its self up there. But the belts are dry and visually its hard to tell.

Around town driving my oil level has been staying the same. I drove 200 km a few days ago when I got home the oil level light turned on and I was on the bottom of the dip stick. I forgot to check the level before the drive but that is a lot of oil with not much trace of it.
