Got it inspected...found 6 blown fuses and had no power running to the passenger side of the car..also found a partially cut wire running to the passenger headlight...replaced fuses, repaired wire, now everything is set. Still hate previous owner for taking terrible care of the car.
Also ordered a new Braille 15 lb no weight battery to replace the stocker that was ruined due to current draw from those fuses. Had really good luck with them on previous cars, even high compression engines.
Anyone know if Porsche relays usually run hot to the touch? Mine were all toasty but i'm not too familiar with old electronics.

All 4 speakers were too deep for the holes. Had to use 1/2" standoffs up front and 1/4" standoffs in the rear. Temporarily mounted without covers/grills. Pieces of black plastic behind them to hide ugly door panel hole. Plan on getting creative with covers in the future.
Don't understand how doors can be considered difficult...

Keith I hope that last *pitcher*(with the gap between speaker and baffle) is during the install and that the rear speaker ended up sealed to the baffle ?
I spoke to my turbo guy today and the turbo I got from Mike(Mike3.0cabturbo) has balanced up a treat. Although Mike bought the turbo as a rebuilt unit, but I didn't want to take any chances, so I bit the bullet and have got it rebuilt. My turbo guy(ben at Procharge) said it was very sooty inside and although it had been rebuilt in the past, he said it looked like it had about 60K on it since that rebuild.
I'm glad I went with a full rebuild, although for what it has cost, buying it and the transport/rebuild etc, I could have almost got a modern turbo. I would have then ended up having to pay more for the work getting a modern one fitted(fabrication) so am better off financially. I know a modern turbo would probably spool faster and have more boost, etc, but as funds are non existent, and that I have always been happy with the car with my old turbo, staying with a kkk K26/6 was the best option(for me).
I can't wait to get her back

Butters, you can find speaker covers that look nice and simple on eBay that are intended for RVs for cheap in whatever size. I have a set of them in my car as the OEM grilles wouldn't clear my speakers.

No, actually none of the speakers are sealed to the baffle. Audiophiles flame away!!! They sound perfectly fine to me
I will be making correct spacers in the future instead of those standoffs, maybe.

Second time rennlist has been invaded by low tech bots this month... I'll let the great Bob know.
Those invalid picture attachments have potentially dangerous links in them, so don't go to them...

We have been running in to those spammers on another forum where I moderate. Basically, they get money for the number of people they get to look at a given site so they post those links to maximize the number of hits they get (and quoting them increases the hits because people see them again). As for why they don't show, I don't know if it is because they are intentionally bad links or if it has to do with forum software.
