Finally got the correct MOMO adapter (7004) and installed my MOMO formula sterring wheel. Now if I can just get the horn to work again. Gotta love it.

Painting another wheel or two today. Buying a new jack and engine crane from harbor freight, need the crane to put an engine in the corvette.
I have next 7 days off. Have a laundry list of things to do. But as usual...cut the grass is at the top. Have to keep the better half happy.

I finally obtained the 944 parts car I was planning on getting a transmission from.
So I pulled the trans from it:
and cleaned it up, changed the oil, and got it ready for installation:
and pulled the bad tranny out of my car:
I can't wait to drive this thing! I've had it for over a month now and haven't been able to enjoy driving it yet. I've got a few hours Friday night to finish out the installation, and I should be cruising this weekend. This is my first trans swap on anything other than a pre-67 VW, and so far it actually seems easier than the ACVW. The hardest part has been the horseshoe puzzle of twisting and shoving the shift rod up through the foam in the front of the tunnel.

Drifting
Those CV joints sure sling a lot of grease, don't they? I had a mess to power wash on mine when I pulled it, too. Just put in new upper power steering seal and found broken pump adjuster. It was caused by loss of the rear mounting nut and spacer. New parts installed and now I'm back up and running again....until something else fails. Keeps me from being bored.
