Began diagnosing some rpm issues and cleaned the MAF sensor for good measure. So many projects on this car, so little time.

I got up, cranked it up, and drove it in to work. I love this car (I just got it road registered on Tuesday).

Drove to a customers arrived to find a large pool of green water appearing from the fornt of the car.
Investigation showed a very split hose, so borrowed some duct tape and a water and managed to drive 30 mile home
The funny part of this story is that on the way I was following a Panamera with dealer plate and the driver waved to me, which made me think I should let them know they should buy it since Porches are so reliable ! 25 year old car you can't hold a rubber hose against it The even funnier thing is just as I stood looking at the increasing lake under the car I get call from the driver of Panamera who happened to be a supplier, we obviously pay much
So now off to Pelican to buy hoses.

Parts arrived! (maybe I should post in the Porsche Fairy thread?) New thermo fan switch, spare dme relay, some brake hardware, fuel filter, and a handful of oil filters. Time to get to work I suppose. I've been having fun driving it to work lately in the meantime. I'll get the cab out this weekend though for some topless fun!

Took it out for the first time this year and drove it! Then I parked it and did an oil change/filter.
She's running well though - burned up some fuel this afternoon making sure the oil was hot!

after 9 months of not having my nose piece on ( 7 of those months i was slowly working on fixing a broken timing belt) I have got the nose repainted and installed. I did a quick paint job nothing too fancy.

I ****ing hate that emblem gasket :P i heated it up and got it as good as i could installed the nuts to tighten it down. I think got a small screw driver and picked the gasket back. I slipped once and marked up the paint but i got the gasket somewhat presentable after that.

After several years of sorting out issues, I DROVE THE **** OUT OF IT. Over 250 miles around Cincinnati the last two days and running like a champ. Oil and coolant are staying in the correct areas of the motor. Halleluiah. I am enjoying it while it lasts and planning for some summer projects, including removing/repairing the gas tank and replacing all the fuel lines.

Fintro11 that paint looks great.

Put the new TPS in and readjusted the butterfly. Hopefully that should take care of my new surging issue.
