Oil change then drove it

Beautifull day and couldn't resist taking the first drivenof the season. New suspension work I did over the winter is great. Can't wait to really let go once I have an alignment next week.

Made my plan of attack for tomorrow.

Put door handles back on, change oil, wash and finally drive it for the first time in 2011.

Not "today" but over the weekend, got new clutch installed. Bellhousing, torque tube, and trans all went in on Saturday. Sunday attempted to get the axles reinstalled and ran into an issue where my fancy locking CV bolts are about 2mm longer than the originals and as such were binding against the carrier on the wheel side. Rather than mess with it, I ended my day on Pelican ordering new axle bolts.

Maybe, fingers crossed, and with a lot of luck, I'll be able to start it next weekend. Just in time for the snow they're predicting around here.

Not necessarily cheaper, definitely not if the car is destined to live outside, or be exposed to the elements...

AND

WAY not cheaper the second time it has to be done (as you will pay double to remove it, then pay to have new material installed!)

Better off roller painting with rustoleum IMHO!

Since the garage door was being replaced and the car had to come out of the garage to make room.. I drove it to work!

Tips I learned are to use heat and lots of soap and water. My friend has a sticker business and gave his scrap so this didnt cost me anything. it does take some time though and is tricky. this is a track car so im nlt to worried about the weather. My friend said that this kind of sticker is suppose to last up to 6 years. Only bad thing is if it gets scratched your

If u need paint anyways I say try it out. This flat blck looks really good....
