Got the water pump mounted back up and started putting the front of the motor back together. Tomorrow I put the crank pulley back on and get the motor timed and hopefully get it all together without any issues.

I'm excited to get it started up again, but i'm taking my time to get it right. Its easier to take your time when you have an S2 to drive while your 924s is down (thanks dad)

Tested my temporarily epoxied expansion tank. It should hold until replacements arrive. I have a backup coming from a rennlister and also just coughed up $137.50 for a new one + another $100 worth of crap. The motor mounts last month cost about that..damn this car

BTW: What is that pink coolant everyone likes to use? VW?

Fixed a small coolant leak at the radiator vent tube (small barb fitting just above the radiator inlet) by tuning the barb a couple of flats. My silicone coolant hose kit was shipped today, so I'll do a more thorough job with it, when those go on.

I did NOTHING to my car...it was -20 Celcius this AM on the way to my son's hockey practise.

I did have the joy of replacing my battery in the wife's minivan today though.

Friggin' Canadian winters...eh?

Started the process of refinishing a set of 8" phonies to use this year in Ax & DE's. It'll be nice to have a dedicted track set with Toyo Proxes R888 245/45/16 on all four corners
