Fender linings are always in place. The reason they aren't right now is because of the engine swap. When I am finished they will go back in. What other photos are you talking about? The ones I posted earlier of the strut?

I finally re-assembled my console. I had a shifter rebuilt using a a bolt and welder. fits nice, feels very tight, though i need to loctite the nut still. replaced my under stereo storage space with a blank panel because my stereo kept overheating. didnt need any fans, just some breathing room, apparently. I painted my shift pattern just to give it all a 'fresh' look. Need new leather on my shifter, there's always things to replace or repair, but its getting there.

Since it's down for the count until I get the suspension sorted, I put it up for the winter early.
Poured a few ounces of Stabil in the tank and fired it up.
Now the idle quality has completely gone away. Used to be intermittent but the last few times it's been getting worse. Doesn't want to idle at all to begin with, then it starts "hunting" up and down from 500 RPM (nearly stalling) to 1500.
Seems to run decent otherwise though...

Idle control valve?

Either idle control valve or a vacuum line would be my guess.
