Porschephile, If the 924S is constructed like the series 1 944, then the panel is spot welded on (just open the hood and look at the top flange - you will either see spot welds or removable screws). If an '87 924S is constructed like the 85.5 and later cars, then you're in luck. I'm really not sure.

Paul, how do you like Brisbane? I stayed there for 2 months last year and loved it. Where are you staying? I was in a hotel on Kangaroo Point with a nice view of the river. I really miss Oz....

I just wanted to clarify a few things about the SC kits that we sell.Although a bit pricey for most, they are well engineered and perform as advertised.We have yet to have anyone grenade their motors(not bad considering we have customers who are have been running these for over three years).So the track record is good but the price is not.The price thing is due to a couple of reasons though:
We are using a C2 blower from ATI Procharger.The head unit alone retails for $2500!!!! It has a billet compressor wheel which is carved on a 7 axis CNC.It is self contained which makes removal very easy:^) It also has a CARB number stamped on it which could help you with the smog *****.
Another thing that should be taken into consideration with our kit is that we include a mass-flow conversion for the 944 in order to provide the appropriate fuel enrichment.We could have burnt a custpm chip and kept the AFM but the stock barn door seemed like such a huge restriction on the 3.5" inlet of this blower.Besides that the included P1SC laptop programmable digital controller allows the end user to make adjustments if they ever want to change something or want to run more boost.It has datalogging capablities,real time monitioring of pressure and rpms and all sorts of cool features.
To summarize......you can buy an exhaust, header,cam, upgrade your ignition system and DME chip and everything else imaginable but you will never drive a 944 as fast as an SFR supercharged 944!

I read your site. Pretty impressive. We want a 1000HP 944 SC kit like the turbo kit you have for the Supra. Or at least 430HP like you have for the z cars.

TurboTim's post and description is typical of a supercharger kit maker that has had their kit out there for 3+ years and has de-bugged it and worked it all out. He knows what he's doing, they have it down to a science, and he knows exactly how to add fuel to the setup too.
Having his blower CARB stamped and certified is not a littledeal - that costs big money and is a genuine benefit to you guys at emmissions time.
Personally, I do not think the 944 SC kit market is so big that it will stand more dilution, and unless SpeedForce's kit is overpriced (I doubt that) or no good (and I doubt that too) I would recommend you - as a group - work with them.
