Apologies if you know the following, but no interrupting it, have the car on a trickle charger and no short cuts or assumptions!

Please ask questions now, before you start and confirm the AIO version suggested is one of these versions: (MHI2_US_POG11_K5126_1_AIO_MU1476_20220723.7z) or (MHI2_US_POG11_K5126_1_AIO_MU1476_20230318.7z)

Have you studied the process and understand what files you need, SD card(s) and formats etc? I strongly suggest that you take the time to read the first posts in the thread and watch the video of how to do this, as much as it is straight forward, there is a process, and it must be followed and not interrupted.
Is there a difference between MHI2_US_POG11_K5186_1_AIO_MU1476_20230318.7z and the MHI2_US_POG11_K5126_1_AIO_MU1476_20230318.7z that you recommended? K5187 and K5126? I can't seem to find the versions you recommended on the MIB Solution site.

My apologies, I made a typo in the version name (now corrected), either of these will work: MHI2_US_POG11_K5186_1_AIO_MU1476_20220723.7z or MHI2_US_POG11_K5186_1_AIO_MU1476_20230318.7z

Thank you. I figured as much, just wanted to verify. All done. Easy process and took about 10-15 minutes. The in gauge nav continues to work if anyone ever wonders, though it shows no video during the update, so don't be scared.

Thanks again!

Good to hear that it went smoothly!

Are you planning to update the nave database? 2024/2025 is on the MIB Solution website: P376_N60S5MIBH3_NAR_NT_Q3.23_2024-2025_02310036

Yes, I'm setting up the SD card for that now. After inserting the card, there should be an option in the GEM menu to update the NAV maps, correct?

No, you use the OEM PCM menus to go see the version information, that is where the option to update is found, the unzipped archive is placed on the root of the SD card in slot 1. The process takes about 30 minutes.

My first post, woohoo!
Thank you all for this post. definitely made it easy to enable navigation, already had Apple Carplay.
For members who have access to a Launch X4231 OBD2 bidirectional scanner and want to enable turn by turn on the cluster without a LVDS cable (for map display), enable the code below.
Hope you find this useful.

Turn by turn on cluster X431 code

Congrats on your first post. The LVDS cable is needed for the Map display (Video Signal) and not Turn by Turn.

Default MIB not working with MY2024 Boxster

Greetings everybody.

I'm the thrilled new owner of a 718 Boxster model year 2024. I'm trying to activate Android Auto, but cannot get MIB to work...

The link to mib.mibsolution.one doesn't work, so I downloaded MIB from github and unzipped that to a FAT 32 SD card. I then downloaded the patches from mibsolution.one (at the top of the page) and un-7-zipped this to the SD card, inside the "patches" folder.
I then inserted this into the SD1 card slot and switched to Developer Menu using Car+Media. When I try to update from SD1 Card, I get an error that the metainfo2.txt file is invalid... My MHI version is MHI2_ER_POG11_P5250 and the MU software is 1502. I'm wondering if that version is too recent and not yet supported? I did notice there is no patch for that specific version in the patches archive. But I also noticed there is one in the MIB Backup folder... Anyone has exprience with the metainfo2.txt issue?

Thanks for you time and help!
