they are listing for 10k ADM but went down to MSRP after 2 minutes of "negotiation".
The days of GTS ADMs seem to almost be over.

Next up to join the MSRP group is the GT4/Spyder.

Too bad the used car market hasn't caught on to this. Asking prices are crazy still. Even though nothing is moving.

selling to me immediately is always easier and better for the dealer.

I called A LOT of dealers over the past week regarding a Spyder allocation and have had multiple call backs with decreasing ADMs/conditions, ie Porsche financing, build price, ED, etc. The market is popping on some of these cars for sure. If people want a 718 allocation, they are out there. Hopefully, they get into the hands of more enthusiasts on here.

Personally don't think it's likely that many new GT4/Spyder allocations start going for MSRP, most dealers hardly received any for 2023. I recently called around to pretty much every Midwest-ish dealer and very few had an available allocation and the ones that did wanted a >$20k ADM

Never a Porsche owner, no relationship with my dealer, and I received my GT4 allocation @ MSRP within 1 week after siting down with my SA - ETA on my 23' GT4 72 days. This dealer gave me a choice between an immediate build, or one in April (this date if I wanted PTS)... so, they were sitting on 2 (now minus 1), and I'm going to assume there is a high likelihood they still have the 2nd available (local only).
Like many others, I called around the country searching for an allocation, with all declining to add me to their list bc they're only dealing with in-state customers. Only one other local dealership got back to me with a May build allocation @ 40K ADM - which was laughable.
Exercise your patience, get onto as many lists as possible, and it sure wouldn't hurt to go to the dealership to put a face to the name. Best of luck!

For me, I got to spec my car just the way that I wanted it back in July. And if I can't get my ADM down from $15k, I am fine with that (but, I will try. CA is a particularly difficult market for us buyers however). Spyders and GT4s won't be around forever, and I will keep my a long, long time.

I only view cars (toys) as an investment for myself, and the GT4 is going to be my daily (average yearly millage = 20,000), so I will get a lot of enjoyment out of this toy for many years to come!
