Sorry, matt0520, I agree we should move on but can't help myself....
boss2k, do you even own a Porsche or are you just upset they demand so much money?
I'm not saying the Z4 is a crap car, I'm sure it's a great GT car but no one in the history of time has ever put any BMW Z-car on the same level as its contemporary mid-engine Porsche. Heavy front-engine cars with 3 series underpinnings are never going to deliver the driving dynamic of a purpose built mid-engined sports car.
Here is what C&D had to say about the G29 Z4 M40i auto you recently drove:
"We have to concede that the automatic better aligns with the Z4's zeitgeist, which is more akin to a flashy high-speed tourer like the Mercedes-Benz SL than to a purist sports car such as the Porsche Boxster."
"On staggered-size Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, our Z4 M40i clung to the skidpad with a resolute 1.00 g of grip, but with muted steering and a curb weight of 3636 pounds, it feels more steadfast than playful. The Z4's Toyota Supra counterpart is the more serious sports car."
And, looking at the numbers, a 6MT GT4 is faster in a straight line (outside of 0-60) than the Z4 M40i:
2023 Z4 M40i Auto:
2020 GT4 6MT:
The GT4 is nearly 500 less lbs, quicker to 100, quicker in the 1/4 mile with a higher trap speed, quicker by 2 full seconds by the time they get to 150 mph, stops better and pulls 1.10 to the 1.00 of the Z4. And nevermind how the car feels doing all of this. No comparison if we're talking about which is the better and more pure sports car/driver's car. C'mon, man.
If I were in the market for a stylish and luxurious sporty GT car I would buy a Lexus LC500 over a Z4 M40i all day long.

No I don't own a porsche , I have a ZL1 now , you can pull up the specs and compare
Priice difference between a Z4 and GTS is 30K
Price difference betweeen a Z4 and GT4 more than 40K
You do the math and tell me if Porsche is that much better, the answer is NO

Another very sweet color, (PTS to boot) Etna Blue in a manual Boxster GTS. 117k. The seats look like 4 way sports seats which some people prefer anyway. Man this is a lovely car. I also like the graphite blue interior.
I don't know how the car could have 2 owners with 984 miles on the ODO?

Has that been for sale for a while now? I seem to remember a similar spec on the Porsche finder site a couple months back. Not sure what's up with the driver's seat. Looks like someone set something heavy down in there and left it for a while, leaving impressions in the leather. Gorgeous color.

Ooooof…that seat would drive me bat **** crazy.
You can actually see the dimensions of the weight placed on it.

Better lucky than good any day. Just signed a deal for this baby:
2021 BGTS 4.0 manual
I still want to see if I can get an allocation for a 2024, but at least now I found a manual to trade for my '22 PDK. Interesting aside, I tried last night to buy a '23 BGTS 4.0 manual, but it turns out it already was sold. I realize its 2 years newer with almost zero miles, but personally I think the $12k lower sticker is a steal.

$106990 was for the 2023 and $94900 for the '21. Of course, I have to add delivery from TX to NY, but it's still a lot cheaper. I'm really curious though to see if my local dealer comes through with a '24 allocation. I had to wait about 6 months for my '22 allocation; I'm hoping my loyalty will be rewarded this time as well. Haven't asked if they have a list yet, but I'll check that as well tomorrow. Here I am back in '22 picking up my new BGTS 4.0 PDK that I'm swapping for a manual:
and the new one is essentially identical on the outside, but my PDK has the LWBS and the new one has the GTS pkg with 18 way seats. I'm a PCA track junky so the idea was to have track dedicated seats, but with my life changes now softer seats will be better

Looking for a GT4 and found a low miles CPO at Suncoast/Sarasota in spectacular '23 Arctic Grey....$152k seems like all the money for this spec...have seen others available in the $138 -142 similar spec.
What would be a fair offer as despite liking this one, economics need to be considered if ever selling.

Man that's a high build to not have PCCBs or LWBS...as it sits they project market value at MSRP + ~24K.
I'm sure there is some room. I'd give them a call to register interest and offer full MSRP, have the sales associate see what he can do for you.
You can see what has happened on BAT in the interim. I suspect you can get the deal done somewhere in the $130s.
Offer to buy some add-ons or financing.
Good luck

Input appreciated, thanks. Realistically, I would consider + $10-$12k over sticker workable given the extra CPO warranty and it is a final year car that is like beachfront property....ain't making anymore of it.
