Been in talks with a few people lately about their cars (minus the PCCB) with a manual, deviated stitching, carbon buckets, PDLS and they've all been mid to high $120s for a 5-10k mile car. Most already have PPF and OAP done as well.

Super low miles, 2023, and PCCB might take that over $130k but I'd suspect it'd be under 140k unless it's a PTS car, CPO, and/or basically 0 miles.

Color also makes a difference I think. A lot of black/white/GT silver with black interior/sofas seem to sit according to the cars.com listings. Especially with the base/rubber dash. While the guards red, shark blue, and chalk cars with manuals + LWBs tend to sell quick. Just what I've seen recently as I start my search.

Dude, living vicariously and in angst is no way to spend your time. Either you are in or out. Don't waste your time. After I sold my 2018 C4S (big mistake) in NH, I bought a BMW 440i convertible to use in flat southern Florida where we have our winter home. 86k factory order. Fine for the sunshine state because the roads are flat and it was a cruiser. Had it shipped to NH to use it there. It sucked big time. Was dying to get back into a Porsche, Boxster GTS but no allocations. Finally a year old Boxster 25 showed up at the local dealer and I bought in an hour while taking a bath for the BMW. Nine months of ownership and for 3 months it was parked in my garage in FL growing mold. I am also an old-fashioned 'MT in my sports car guy' so the auto in the BMW was grating and the ultimate soul-sucking experience.

Much before this fiasco, I had a manual 2005 Z4 3.0 liter that I traded for a manual 2013 981 Boxster S. See a pattern? Porsches just drive better and to me, money well spent. It is about finesse and refinement. Why spend a bunch of money and be dissatisfied? FWIW, Take it or leave it.

Sorry; had to edit

This is the problem, i have never said Porsche doesn't make great cars, they make awesome cars that's why i am here in these forums. All i wanted to say was that 718 GTS/GT4/Spyders are not that great that they command 20-30K premium in used car market , again my opinion not to be misconstrued ... have driven these cars couple of times , not long enough to own them but i do like them

I am very happy with my ZL1 , an awesome machine for the price i paid, its called the "value for money" that is important to me as well. I just can get myself to pay the huge prices these cars demand now.

Will see if something changes in the near future ... I am also in the wait list for an allocation on the manual Z4 which may happen in few months

This seems like a pretty reasonable assessment. It's also the middle of winter, so I'd expect things to sell a bit more quickly and perhaps even see a slight asking price increase in the spring. Spend what you're comfortable with, but if you see a spec you like and it's around MSRP, I don't think you can go wrong. Sometimes you might have to act fast to get a deal (I did last September and don't regret it at all!)

Here’s a nice new manual Boxster GTS in White with graphite blue leather. MSRP 107k. Don’t know if they are asking above sticker. Has PP.

A couple of Spyders from the local dealer in NH who sold me my Boxster 25. They have treated me well.
124k for a 2020 and 132k for a 2021. Not many miles either. Both manuals.

That's some strange pricing.

Without really looking at the cars, the older one with more miles is over MSRP and the newer one with less miles near MSRP.

Maybe the market, regardless of options, is in the 120s...

In other news my 2021 RY Spyder was sold by Plano in about 2 days, so there's that data point. $119.7 MSRP listed at $115.9 (w/CPO) & 17,000 miles.

Original MSRP is really not a factor, miles and age/MY do matter however. Also MTs seem to be a bit more in demand with higher prices vs. PDK cars.

When you consider new MY24 base/S models are pushing 100k now, it almost seems like a bargain for these. I don't know how they sell them but dealers seem to spec up the turbo 4s.

They are both manuals. Age/MY/miles...that's my point the one that's older is priced higher as relating to original sticker.

Yours was a PDK with higher miles than these 2 if I recall, so the pricing it went for seems right. I suspect the NH cars will take a bit longer to move, given its the dead of winter unless someone from a warm state buys them.

Sorry for the confusion, I wasn't comparing my car's sale price to the 2 NH cars...just adding a data point.

My only comment was respect to the 2 NH cars and skewed pricing given age, MY, miles, and equipment.

That was an easy call. Was priced dead on.

Less than an hour left on this. Would be curious to see what the top bid ends up being. Last sold for $150k on BAT so I'm sure the seller has an unrealistic reserve.
