There is no harm in setting the code to close windows when closing top with one-touch. However, I did not notice it changing anything.

I have never noticed the storage lock code. If anyone has an answer regarding what that code does and why it is off, I would appreciate it.

Do you know what additional coding is required to allow the top to go down with the key fob on a 911? I am corresponding with 991 owners who tried the Boxster coding but they receive errors when trying to code it. There must be additional coding to allow the use of truck button. One guy modified his key and got it working. The problem is he doesn't remember what coding he used to get it working.

Ok - are you saying it is NOT possible with the Spyder to have the windows close after closing the top with the fob? I've already coded to open and close the top with the fob, but when closing the top the windows stay open... then I have to unlock the car, put the key in the ignition and close the windows with the door buttons... it would be really nice if the windows would close when using the fob. I was actually going to go in and have them try and enable this next week but will skip it if it's not possible. Here's the post where I thought the instructions were to have windows:

(2nd highlighted "ja" I thought would enable windows to close)

No. I am not saying that. If you change the code for closing the windows after opening the top with the key fob to yes the windows will close. I was saying that the code to close the windows after closing the top with one touch does not do anything because I haven't figured out how to close the top with one touch.

When you say your windows stay open are they completely down or just down one or two inches?

on my car they stay down at the "top open/close" position (the same position they open to when using the keyfob open feature"

Me as well...
Ok - I'll see if changing that second one to yes will close the windows after the top closes.

You keep asking the same question about One Touch coding. Have you actually tried to code it or are you asking someone to find the code for you? You need to spend some time experimenting.

I think he is talking about the One Touch closing from the door handle not Keyfob.

Well I have answered this a few times here and a few dozens PM's to the OP. He would need to research this on his own. When I started coding with PIWIS, I was told by @rnlst_log to understand the logic of the Porsche engineer and not our logic. Coming from the BMW GT1 or Esys coding, it is definitely different.
