On cylinder deactivation linked to A.S.S. inactivation.
I wonder if the same result would result from the T-design9 module remembering A.S.S. off as well?
I have had the T-Design9 module since 2020, I can confirm that his module works to remember that button setting, activated it keeps both A.S.S. and Cylinder Deactivation from operating. This is my preferred mode of operation.
I believe that they are both enabled when the ECO ON setting ( BKE ) is selected in PIWIS. Just not sure how to code enable/disable cylinder deactivation by itself.
Blatantly stolen from the Macan forum, this is how to illuminate the dash backlighting for black dials all the time. It just tells the car it has white dials not black, where the default is always on.
(1) Kombinstrument: Dimmung - allegemeine Konfiguration: Konfiguration zentrales Zifferblatt Weiss = ja
{Instrument cluster: dimming - general configuration: configuration central dial white = yes}
(2) Kombinstrument: Dimmung - allgemeine Konfiguration: Konfiguration alle Zifferblatter Weiss = ja
{Instrument cluster: dimming - general configuration: configuration of all dials white = yes}
Haha... this was @runbuh and me in the Macan Forum who figured this one out...
So who can do this? I found 10 year old threads where this can't be done because coding was missing in NA cars. Then the threads all died. Has anyone done this? I'm willing to pay someone to do it.

Let me take a look at 981. I believe the BCM module is different from 718
