Just got a call from a dealer for a GT4RS allocation at $150K over MSRP. I had to chuckle a bit, but he said only 200 cars for the US which would be very surprising if there is that few.
Who's the dealer? Austin? 200 US GT4RSs car? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA You should have told them to stop lying because will nose will grow.
Cocaine or meth are far cheaper than this. And an intervention more likely to succeed.
My dealer in the Chicagoland has 25 on the list for the RS (allegedly). Recently they sold a GT3 for 50k markup for an odd color combo car.
Holy cow you all, get a new dealer if they are gouging you like that. I personally have had money down on the gt4rs since 2 days after the gt4 was announced. I am number 2 on the list and am guaranteed in writing to receive the car at MSRP should the allocation give them enough cars to cover the VIP clients. I agreed that should I sell it in the future I would floor it with that dealer for resale for 30 days and pay them a consignment commission of 8%. Should they not turn it then I am free to sell it myself. Also, I set the price on resale not them. I would never in a million years pay over MSRP for any new car. This one is truly astounding and I can’t wait to get it.

More dealer hype to increase demand and justify ADMs... There should be a law..

Yeah I laughed when he said 200 cars. At that number they might not even recoup the engineering and tooling costs on the RS specific parts.
The car has bespoke fenders, exhaust, intake, intake windows, hood, wing, splitter, springs, interior colors, wheels, air curtains, transmission gearing, etc. Didn't the US even get more than 200 911R?

I agree that the 200 is wrong and gotta be a joke. But remember this car is really being used for the homologation of the Clubsport.
