Do you know how many gt3rs they received as a first batch allocation after debut. Just trying to get an idea on production numbers.

Ok so figure roughly 2 non-VIP cars per dealer plus VIP cars and you probably have something around 475 in this round.

That could be a good measure but keep in mind that with all that's going on worldwide IMO production will be less than what was planned (at least until end of year and then we will see)....as an example my dealer got 3 and they had to move me to a further date due to PTS.
The best they could do is PAG advanced them a single August allocation but the dealer didn't sound to optimistic on getting the cars expected this year based on GT3/RS/GT4 typical allocations.
They also showed me the list of non-available things/options for specific and all models, and it was long. At least for the GT4RS the only thing on hold was PCCBs.
Hopefully things will get back on track more towards end of year but right now it's chaos.

One of my local dealers in Northeast US had received 3 allocations for 2022 GT4RS. He has no idea of course if /when any more are coming I am currently #3 on the list so hoping they will get at least 3 more allocations for 23 MY.

I guess that means trying to get MSRP will be more difficult.

I am the original person who made this thread 61 pages ago. Sigh. I am getting 40k above MSRP from my own dealership. The boss dropped the previous 100k for everybody to "only" 40k for VIP. I am really not feeling it. I actually have a Lambo STO coming in in Sept/October at MSRP.
My spec is 175k without ceramic break. This car really is not a 220k car, even at 175k it is really stretching it. The market definitely is not as good as it seemed, otherwise the owner would not drop from 100k to 40k. I am in California

Refreshing to see an honest assessment of the car, and market. Thank you for the well thought out and written post.

I ordered mine at MSRP, total of USD 186 k with currency conversion, Arctic grey, WP, FAL, LED PDLS lights, no PCCB or magnesium wheels.
this include 15% vat, delivery and registration fees.

May build, delivery in August (V200).

A dealer in SoCal wanted 75K + the PPF/Tire/whatever packages on top of that. That was down from the initial 100K ADM.

Agree with what he's saying in principal but I think he's severely underestimating the number of GT4 RS' Porsche plans on producing. I think dealers have done a great job of convincing the world that GT car supply will remain constricted forever when as we speak there are over 50 people trying to flip 992 GT3s on autotrader and this is when production delays mean many more cars are yet to be delivered.

I hear what you’re saying and I like your positive outlook, but that’s not what we’re seeing in the market.

Take the GT4; finishing year 3 of production and prices are still rising. By your logic should all be MSRP or better. Probably closing in on 2000+ US 718 GT4s and yet MV/ADM never higher.

I don’t follow your Autotrader reference. Yes, 55 992 GT3s for sale nationwide…cheapest one is $290. That seems to indicate a smokin’ hot market not a declining one.

In the past 2000 RSs in US may have been sufficient under the demand +1 model. Today doubt that even covers half the demand.

Insatiable appetite today for “it” cars, watches, bourbon, etc…

Exactly this. Lux Cars/Watches/Bourbon are just f'ing retarded. I haven't looked lately but the 300ish dollar 23y Pappy that I bought in 2019 is now evidently worth....north of 5k....for a bloody consumable. I honestly can't wait for it all to implode....all of it.
