I bought my Spyder a new garage floor. I bring you the So Cal two-car special. Motofloor from Costco. About $3.50sf and easy to install. What you see was accomplished using three different colors/shades. Black and white, black and alloy, and charcoal. Pretty happy with it so far. Seems like it would be difficult to replace an individual tile here or there in the event of damage.

I can concur that these are useful and make it easier to reach for the belt. Well made like the rest of Ed's products.

How do you attach it on a 14- or 18- way seat?

I would imagine its an LWBS thing only. It is literally just a loop connected with velcro.

Nice. I need to refinish my garage floor but this should hold me over for a couple of years. I almost bought them a few times but reviews about the tiles buckling if the steering wheel is turned scared me away. Have you experienced this?

Also, I assume, based on my eyeballing of your garage, this took about 4 boxes?

Looks nice and organized!
I just built a new house & garage (obviously) and did the floors myself with Rust Bullet. I should have edged the concrete before applying it because I'm not getting a good bond and it's coming up in spots... I'll have to re-do the floor. I've thought of doing tiles but don't want sitting water under the tiles. Are those water tight?

Nope. And that's the one thing that I don't love about them. But remember, it's the So Cal two-car special. It hasn't rained here since 2021.

I am thinking about applying a large bead of industrial sealer at the entrance edge in order to keep any water from coming into the garage from the outside in the unlikely event it does rain here again someday.

Only 48sf per box and I have a roughly 19x19 garage. I think I ordered twelve boxes and returned three. I needed to order enough material to complete all the patterns (and the edge cuts) I wanted so that left me with about .9 box left over.

Got it. That gets pretty pricey. Probably actually cheaper to have my floor professionally refinished and epoxied.

If you’re concerned about water, take a look at Swisstrax. I bought mine from Obsessed Garage and have been happy with it for the last 2 years.

Are you saying that, in your experience, the joints are sealed enough so that no water seeps through to the floor?

I decided to just get my floors epoxied professionally with the diamond stone grind and polyaspartic flakes. It sucks that it's so slippery in the winter. But it's so easy to clear all the salt/grime off with a hose when the temps rise above freezing.
