Thanks for the feedback. I ordered a pdk so changing gears wont be an issue. Usability of the armrest is kind of important though. Will look to see if there are any low profile options like this.
I installed the center console cup holder because the Porsche Swing-outs are nearly useless.
When there’s a beverage in the console cup holder, the armrest is somewhat blocked and manual shifting will take some adjustment.
But when it’s empty, which for me will be 90% of the time, there’s no obstruction.
Interior mods now complete with this morning’s addition of the Kaizen Cup Holder. Fit and finish A+. Ease of installation C+.
I looked at that one. Since I have a PDK, shifting is not an issue. And I don't use the armrest (although my wife might). But only one holder that won't securely hold a refillable metal water bottle securely isn't really good enough for us on longer road trips. So I got a pair of "Ultimate Cup Holders" (https://www.ultimatecupholders.com), one for each side of the console. They are truly the answer. I will never open the collapsable factory parts again.

Same here. I love mine. Very stable at any speed, so to speak. I have never opened the OEM cup holders since installing this.

I've had one for ten years that I've moved from passenger side footwell of car to car. Somewhat of a pain on a 911 when you need to move passenger seat forward for rear seat acces, but not really on a Cayman.

@lnirenberg I'm running this exact wheel (have one set VS5RS, one set SM10) and brake combo, happy so far. One warning: be extra certain you get the rear brake lines clocked correctly, else the tires will talk to them. Very interested to hear if you have any rubbing issues in the front (and what camber, shim, camber plates you're running) with the tire combo and what you think of the RT660s, esp given the unavailability of the SC3R.
