I know on the 991 forum we had a separate thread on these as everyone was having issues with them working properly. However, I have now found one on Amazon that has worked flawlessly since installation on my 718.
with this connected, how to you charge your phone?
I never have a need to charge my phone so a non-issue. Once you get used to wireless CarPlay it is very hard to consider going back. Even if my phone is in my frunk it still wirelessly connects…def worth $100.

I have a similar setup. Charging when needed is handled with a Rennline Mount with MagSafe Charger. Or you could just put in the glovebox and use the USB connection there. Or use the smokers tray power outlet with a charger. Plenty of options.

Thanks. Is it difficult to get your MagSafe wired and powered ?

Agreed. I keep a wire plugged into the footwell outlet and rolled into the storage net for when I need it. Plug it into the phone on the magnetic rennline dash mount. Pretty low key and this way the phone remains accessible.

I was able to use the USB port in the glovebox. So quite easy when you are installing the phone mount. Just run the wire behind the side cover and into glovebox.

Would you mind posting the product name and model number? I’m in the US and your link bumps me to the Canadian site and I want to make sure it’s the correct product, especially as the reviews are pretty poor. Thanks!
Looking for who makes / sells little leather “loops” to hold the passenger seat belt to the LWBS (up near the top). Otherwise the metal bracket rattles against some part of the door or body at highway speed.
I thought Crazy Eddie sold them, but I don’t see them on his site. Please tag me if you answer, so I don’t miss it.

I finally did a successful install of my new shift boot with Shark Blue stitching from Exclusive Option. I tried unsuccessfully before, but today I just put a bit more effort into pulling off the shift ****.
how do you like it? I have an R3 and am considering buying a used R7 if I can find a good deal.
I love it. I'm glad I got this over a new V1. The auto mute feature is great. And the range is phenomenal. It's helped me out a few times already in less than a week where I have spotty cell signal and Waze isn't available.

Hmmmmmm. How much is that? It probably wouldn't look good with that and my belts being the only blue inside, but maybe... (I don't have any deviated stitching)
