I decided to just get my floors epoxied professionally with the diamond stone grind and polyaspartic flakes. It sucks that it's so slippery in the winter. But it's so easy to clear all the salt/grime off with a hose when the temps rise above freezing.
Had epoxy with flakes at my old place and didn't like how slippery it gets either. I went with racedeck free flow tiles and have no regrets. You can hose it down to clean it too, but it's never slippery and always looks clean. Only con I can think of is if you leave your garage door open on a super hot day it does expand and buckle a little bit it goes away once it's cooled.
I bought my Spyder a new garage floor. I bring you the So Cal two-car special. Motofloor from Costco. About $3.50sf and easy to install. What you see was accomplished using three different colors/shades. Black and white, black and alloy, and charcoal. Pretty happy with it so far. Seems like it would be difficult to replace an individual tile here or there in the event of damage.

Got it. That gets pretty pricey. Probably actually cheaper to have my floor professionally refinished and epoxied.
I like the look of the epoxy but it’s too slippery at times. And I had zero interest in pulling all of that stuff out of my garage so I could coat it from wall-to-wall.
Are you saying that, in your experience, the joints are sealed enough so that no water seeps through to the floor?
The opposite. They are ribbed for your pleasure so dust and dirt and water falls through the tile to the floor and then is either absorbed into the concrete or runs towards the door due to the slope of the slab.

I considered this however it would just drive me insane thinking about all the filth and dirt and mold? hiding under the tiles. Do you wash inside your garage?
I do a lot of washing in mine, and in the winter months here there's a lot of nasty slush that come off the cars... I may go with some type of liquid art as a replacement of my current floor...

Nice S2000, I sold mine to make room and prep for my GT4. I'm going to miss that car, but the GT4 should be the obvious upgrade.
