If one does not want to have their boot restitched they can easily be made the thread Black with a paint pen or Sharpie. This method works well on White, Silver, etc. shades of stitching.

I was recommended to a local interior place that does all the pick up work for Lamborghini in Vegas, Ian's Auto Interior to have the GT4RS PDK boot restitched. Yellow is a match even though its slightly different weight. Now just waiting for the console trim piece come in so I can install it.

Porsche wanted $900 to only stitch your shift boot in matching yellow? That’s insane. You can buy a standard Spyder shift **** with yellow-stitched boot together for under $400.

Or have it restitched by Classic 9 for less than half that, and it will be perfect (unlike the work done by a Lambo shop).

Tough crowd. Classic 9 has yet to respond to my inquire for over 5 days, 3 of those business. While I agree it's not the absolute correct thread its damn close. I would do it again over taking a 'Sharpie' to a nearly $600 part.

Here is the contact for Classic 9 Leather, who is very busy based on the quality of work they do for a reasonable cost: andrew@classic9leathershop.com

And I agree, a Sharpie or paint pen will work fine if one wants to cover a light-colored thread with a darker color.

A 2 car garage for my 3 cars. Sold my other house and never thought 3 cars would fit but they do.

In all seriousness though, I'd love to have that problem.
