Enjoy my friend.....I am thinking it will take another 5 days to get to my dealer (tri state NYC area) from HAL to DVV and then 3 days for PPF. I should have by month end as the dealer will want their sales numbers!

more on visor stickers
GooGone, and other citrus based adhesive removers(rapid remover et al) are not all that friendly to vinyl and/or leather. My visors appear to be vinyl or similar man-made material.

They have real time updates now since its close to shore...still free.
The ship is still outside the formal port area - waiting for traffic I bet.
Status says "stopped" on marine tracker - stopped outside of the port!

Recently heard from my PCA who indicated he'll have a November CGTS allocation for me and the car should be in by the end of the year. I thought it would take longer than that. Is that the typical turnaround time?

For a CGTS I placed a demand order at a small dealer in July of 2020. No deposit requested, and no waiting list number, but they had a customer GT4 in the showroom. I texted the SA once a month for about 6 months. No progress…except multiple offers to order a GT4 instead of a GTS. In Jan 2021, I got on the list at a second dealer. $1000 refundable deposit, and #15 on the CGTS list. This was my first Porsche, so no special treatment. I settled in for a long wait.
Well, there must have been a lot of ghosts on that list, because I got a call from the dealer just a couple weeks later. The build locked at the end of Feb, exited production at the beginning of June and went through the Panama Canal on July 1. It is off the boat (Lake Geneva) in San Diego and on the way to Oregon. PPF then delivery at the end of the month. So about 6 months from lock to delivery. I’m looking forward to graduating from this thread…and putting something up on the random pictures one!
I can’t say what is going on with allocations and lists and I had a very different experience at two different places. As many have said, talk to multiple dealers and keep in contact. I’m sure all the waiting will be forgotten after the first drive!

I guess that they're allowed to relax a bit on Sundays. Your link shows assignment of the pilot boat for 0430 tomorrow (Monday) morning. Something to watch over coffee here in Ontario tomorrow, I guess.
Thanks again.

That's a great link, thank you. The Eastern Passage Halifax Autoport piers have been clear throughout, but it appears as if they are just waiting for the pilot boat to be assigned. It was a relatively busy day (for a Saturday!) yesterday with tanker and container ship traffic arriving and departing and I guess the Siem Cicero didn't have priority. Being ex-Halifax-based Navy, I know the harbour rhythm pretty well.
