my spyder is on a truck to the dealer. 
the closer the car gets, the harder each day of waiting is.
the waaa…aaait…ing is the hard…est part.
i hope to leave the waiting room this weekend (but not without a picture)

The Siem Cicero is almost in DVV port..waiting outside!! Dealer said about 2 to 5 days to clear customs and get dropped off at dealer (dealer about 2 hours away from port).

Most cars are built in under a day. I know the BMW X3 we bought last year took under 18 hours. Their web site is very cool and lets you see the stages that the car is in. They started building the car on a Monday and we had it in our hands on Friday! Of course, it's built in North Carolina and not Germany, but still. Fast.

Interesting, you got V200 on July 8th but don't lock until Sep 24th, then delivery about 6 weeks later. Very interesting indeed. I can't wait to see mine to compare notes.

Not to raise any concerns ... In 2015 I had a new BMW on a train from Halifax to Victoria. The car simply disappeared and after a long delay I complained to the dealer's GM and he contacted BMW HQ. The car was finally located in train switching yards in Vaughan just north of Toronto.
Thankfully, my 2018 Cayman was delivered as was expected.
