GT4 in Racing-Yellow ordered 12/29/2020 by Terry aka tigerhonaker
Terry, I just have the valved rear section muffler. To combat the resonance in the 18000-2500 rpm zone, I have the valves fully open all the time and it seems to suit me just fine.
Hello all,
Randy has been in close contact with me recently on when he was going to be able to get the time to come pick-up the Michelin PS4S tires I have.
As it turned-out he made it here around 11:30am Central Time yesterday.
We did the Unravel thing which took sometime as I as usual went Way-way overboard on securing them so there wouldn't be anyway for rain etc. to get to them.
Thankfully a Razor-Knife and a lot of cutting finally got us to where we could start from the top of the stack and start removing each tire.
It was already a scorcher here as recently it's been a Heat-Index of plus 100-Degrees.
Below are some pictures of Randy and me doing the Michelin tire thing.
He also stopped by another buddy of his which is approximately 1/2 way to my house and picked-up the Michelin Cup 2 tires I had sold him.
His buddy had actually drove here and picked the Michelin Cup 2 tires up and stored those for Randy.
So, Randy actually will have two sets of Michelin tires in his daughter's station-wagon.

Randy is on the right.

Randy is all loaded-up and getting in and on his way back to around Atlanta, Georgia.

Hey Randy if you drop by this thread/post thanks for helping a Porsche buddy out,
Terry
BTW,
The reason for me wearing the Flat 6 MOTORSPORTS Tee-Shirt something new is arriving here in a few days from that shop.

I'm really confused why you would put PSAS4's on a GT4? I run PSA4's on my daily driver, and they're great for all weather but they're not a performance tire. It sounds like you really should be buying a second set of wheels for the GT4 so you have a winter set with PSA4's and a summer set with PS4S's or PSC2's. You're really going to lose the essence of what a GT4 is all about by installing PSAS4's and losing the handling capabilities of the higher performing summer tires.
It's starting to sound more and more like you bought the wrong car.

Thanks for dropping by again and following my GT4.

From your comments in BOLD above ^^^ it seems that just maybe what I'm doing with my GT4 and what you do may not possibly be the same or mutual interest.

Well drop back by as I'll be posting soon on what's arriving later today from ....................

Things are moving forward guys,
The SOUL OAP are here.
And now the Cargraphics valve controller unit is here.

I was waiting to see what Nick at PON (Porsche of Nashville) was going to recommend between the SOUL & Cargraphics controllers ???
He has plus 20-years of experience with Porsche of Nashville.
Also, I have been following the two Threads below which are full of useful information from Rennlist members.

To my SURPRISE this is what I saw when I received the invoice below from Jon Swift (Owner).

Thanks Jon for taking care of business buddy.

Hey Terry,
If it was me, I’d go with the cargraphics unit.
I like that it is less invasive of an install than the SOUL version,
and I especially like it is a pass-thru unit that has the ability to alter the stock function as desired.

@tigerhonaker I wanted to drop in to say thank you for your service in Vietnam. My father was a Vietnam veteran. Sadly he took his own life in September 2020. Stay safe, stay healthy, and look after your fellow veterans.
On to happier subjects, nice Cayman GT4. I have a Spyder build that locks next month. I'm in the infinite loop of trying to decide on a color.

1st things first ............
Sorry Sir for the loss of your Father and he is not the only Vietnam Veteran that has ended their lives.
Vietnam was a DISASTER !!!
I just saw this picture of me and a few buddies in Cu-Chi, Vietnam.

Speaking of your ordered Spyder ............
I find that my 1st thought on things is usually the way I should go.
So, my man whatever your 1st thought was go for it and don't look back.
There are No-Wrong decisions on color choices just simply different for each of us.
I think your going to love the incoming Porsche Spyder.
