As you will see below I did take some pictures.
But ..................
I didn't come even remotely close to actually covering everything he did.
He took all the time needed to do it in a SAFE manner to Not-Scratch the surface as it was a lot more NASTY than what the pictures would show.
He is a very meticulous person even when doing another person's Prized-Possession !!!

Thank-You Jim Dillard for taking care of my GT4.

Thanks everyone for your time,

That tire shine comes from my city lol. I didn't know that company had such a long reach.

Zhao,

Here is a short story on that tire dressing.
One of the guys that did one of my many Performance cars used that Tire-Dressing.
He gave me what was left in a bottle.
I used it when detailing that vehicle.
I liked it so much I went On-Line and ordered it for myself and it is definitely a Great-Product.
It provides a Deep-Black-Matte finish.
You can let it sit overnight or simply wait an hour or so and Wipe-Off any excess.

Be Safe buddy,
Terry

Thumbs up Just left "Porsche of Nashville" and it begins guys .....

Thursday,

Guys the wife and I just got back home from "Porsche of Nashville".
PON is like 8-9 miles from us so it's a Really-really quick drive.

I have done my part and certainly John Gaydos with SOUL Performance has went the Extra-Mile for a Fact to get this order to me on time.

This is going to be some very interesting change/changes for me and I am so looking forward to them.

Curious question..... Does the SOUL box fit in the truck of your GT4 or do you need to take it in another car to the shop ?

Edit: never mind, just saw your pic from yesterday......

SpyderSenseOC,

I saw your original message buddy below.
What happened to the post wherein some guy was slamming you for posting pics of the FedEx info?
The stuff that goes on around here.
That was over on the SOUL dedicated thread on their products.
Including the two recent purchases of mine .............
The SOUL Rear-Valved-Muffler & SOUL Sound-Symposer delete.

I posted some pictures to show John Gaydos that the SOUL Fed Ex box actually did arrive that he went Way-Overboard to make it happen.
I actually didn't think it would be an issue since it was the dedicated thread of SOUL Performance.
Obviously some of the Rennlist Members didn't like what I did and they said so.

My then decision was to simply post on this thread of mine and ONLY post the Link over on the SOUL Performance dedicated thread.
So hopefully no further HATE comments to me or about me on that thread.

All is A-OK on this end,

Be safe buddy,
Terry

Post SOUL Performance installs of (Rear-Valved Muffler & Sound Symposer Delete) ...

Greetings,

Note*
Full-Discloser I'm not here to Change any ones minds on what you already have or what your going to have.

I just now got the Very-Short 4-Videos loaded on YouTube and all the pictures that Nick (Shop Foreman) took for me of the installs.

I have given thought to how to say what I think on the installs and what I think you guys would wish to know.

I also have decided not to try to make this short I think it's much more important to say everything I actually think.

My approach is to NOT-EVER mislead anyone on what I say as always.

Sadly, in some cases it seems once someone spends their monies they are not about to post anything NEGATIVE about what they did or had done.

I choose to just speak in a Matter-of-Fact-Way on what I Really-really think and of course what I think has Nothing to do with what another person thinks or says.

Lets now get this show on the road ...............

Keep in-mind guys I already have the SOUL Racing OAP installed.

SOUL (Rear Valved-Muffler) and (Sound-Symposer Delete) installs.
I cannot separate the two as I had Nick install Both at the same time.
I didn't want to have to go through the Agony of having to do another PON appointment and additional Labor-Cost.
I had made my decision on getting Both and having Both installed at the same time ^^^

1ST impressions on Sound inside the cabin:
Guys I might as well get this out of the way on the Front-End.
If you Don't want any additional NOISE inside the Cabin where you reside ???
Do-Not do these installs including my Previous "Racing" OAP with Ceramic-Coating !!!
So, you have now been WARNED ^^^

(1st part driving)
Let me see if I can say how this went for me as time went by with my 1st 311.6 miles of the 500 miles for BURNING in the New SOUL changes.
Driving away from Porsche of Nashville from now on referred to as PON.
Driving my PDK in Sports-Mode with Valves-Fully-Open and letting it change gears.
I had NOT-a-Clue as to what to Expect ...............
I think the Greater-Majority of people would think, (What the Hell) did I just do.
Keep in-mind this is a PDK GT4 NOT the Manual-6-Speed GT4 or Spyder.
It was Beyond-ANNOYING as the revs increased to where it was getting ready to shift in normal driving.
Thankfully, after a year of ownership and 6,000 miles (USA GT4) and after the SOUL "Racing" OAP addition with a Controller.
I can easily recall what I thought when I Very-very 1st drove the GT4 from PON.
I thought to myself this is suppose to be a Super-Modern Porsche Sports-Car.
It was to me LOUD beyond Belief in some instances according to road-conditions and RPM.
But ................
I made up my mind to Calm my Dumb-*** down and allow myself time to get better acquainted with it.
Thank goodness I did that and as I Fortunately put the 2,000 (Break-in-Miles) on it and Learned how to drive it all ended-up A-OK.
Not the exact same-thing with the addition of the SOUL "Racing" OAP with Ceramic-Coating.
But, IMHO it did take again some additional learning and once again a different Driving-Style.
I made up my mind I was NOT going to form an instant decision on the Newly installed SOUL additions.

(2ND part driving)
I drive in Sports-Mode with Valves-Wide-Open and Defeat Auto-Start-Stop function.

As I mentioned above I have now put 311.6 US Miles on my GT4.
I chose a somewhat familiar place to drive and that was to Huntsville, Alabama USA that I used for the 2,000 mile Break-In.
My reasoning was that drive goes through really small towns and speed-limits vary from as low as 20 MPH to Highways 55 MPH.
So, one gets a wide-variety of shifting up and down for sure.
Read the next comments Very-very carefully guys if your considering doing what I have done and of course if you have the PDK tranny.
Thank-Goodness I have stayed calm and made the decision to immediately start putting those 500-Burn-In-Miles on it.
So, I could make a much more Logical-Decision on Keeping or Removing the last SOUL installs ???
I found out pretty darn quick to live on a daily basis with the GT4 and the PDK.
Good-Stuff now guys .................
All I had to do was use the Shift-Pedals {FREQUENTLY} !!!
Meaning, keep the RPM from being in the RPM-Range that produces all the ANNOYANCE.
In general you simply Up-Shift and that keeps the RPMs from what would Drive any NORMAL Person Crazy/Nuts.
It takes some Practice guys if your Not use to using the Shift-Paddles and I was NOT use to using them.

(3RD part Final-Decision & All-Feedback)
I stopped by PON yesterday late afternoon after returning from my 1st Huntsville, Alabama USA run.
I got some Unsolicited instant feedback from Blake my SA, Dillon SA, Nick Shop-Foreman and Jim Dillard Spyder owner on the Newly installed SOUL products.
All of them had the same thing to say that it now sounds like a 911 GT3 under WOT and High RPM.
Before I forget again, Blake told me once Nick completed it he stopped and got Blake to go on the Final-Test-Drive.
They both loved the changes and both mutually agreed as I said above it sounded to them like a 911 GT3 at WOT.
Also on my travels I had guys following me and then pulling up beside me and giving me the (Familiar) 2-Thumbs-Up.

I will say I HIGHLY-RECOMMEND ..... ALL ..... the SOUL changes I have done if you wish to have the ABSOLUTE-EPITOME of a TRUE RACING GT4 and or Spyder !!!

I will DEFINITELY be keeping All-the SOUL Performance changes that include, Racing OAP, Rear Valved Muffler, Sound-Symposer-Delete.

Pictures that Nick provided to me and I GREATLY-APPRECIATE him doing so.

.

Below are the 4-Super-Short Videos just to maybe give you a little idea of what it sounded like when I picked it up:

Guys I hope you found this post to be helpful in your SOUL Performance purchases,

Lastly,
I want to and will put at a minimum 500-miles on the GT4 W/PDK to make totally-sure the Newly installed SOUL additions are BURNED-IN.
After which I will do some New Videos to maybe give you some idea of what it Sounds like after the Burn-In !!!

Terry

Thanks Sir for the compliment.

In the Very-very beginning leaving PON I wondered if I was actually going to keep the Last-Changes.

But, I decided to stay calm and go put some serious miles on it and then see what I thought.

My Final-Decision after the 311.6 miles was I'm {DEFINITELY} keeping All-the-SOUL Performance Up-Grades.

The current sound is Truly Bad-*** !!!

I have heard this system (not in the car) Terry and it sounded wicked. Glad it is working for you, and I like how Jim calls your car "stealthy"
