For a catback no...but if you change from EOM manifold to headers, even those with cats, they could make a case for any claim related to the powertrain.
It's very important to have a good relationship with your dealer's service department so you can gauge how critical they are with mods to the car.

interesting.. yes typically downpipes are separate from headers and have cats but i guess in this case they are in the header?

now I'm not sure I want to replace headers

Don't forget about the tune. To maximize an aftermarket header, you need the tune part too. So, it's a given that you will void your warranty going the header route.

If the C8 Z06 becomes obtonium and I have the GT4 long enough to blow thru the warranty, then I would do the headers, but that would be at least 3 years away. As of now with all the mods I have done, there is nothing else I would trade the GT4 in for other than the C8 Z06.

I am like #2100 on Mac Mulkin's MSRP list, so unless they really ramp up production and the supply chain issues go away, I am looking at a 3+ year wait, so regardless, I am in the GT4 for quite a while. I have already racked 15K miles in 9 months, so I will probably be the only 50K mile GT4 on here in a few years, lol.

Wow, that would be very cool. Do you know about when? Maybe PM me. Eric @SupremePower is great! If you are here on a weekend there are many events and roads to drive. I would love to try your set up and see if its worth it for me to do... Thx

I never had the "joy" of driving my Spyder with the OEM exhaust. I had the dealer install the Kline inconel OAPs and rear muffler with CF tips as well as the BMC intakes prior to delivery. The OEM boat anchor is sitting in my attic with 5 miles on it. Car should have come this way from Porsche and mine did. I had planned on installing it myself but I didn't want to spend my first weekend wrenching instead of driving and the exhaust had been sitting in my garage in boxes for about 5 months as my car kept getting delayed so I was tired of seeing it.

Yeah easily the best mod I’ve done on my Spyder. I prefer the inconel for the higher pitched wail.

I'm all set for my Kline Inconel install in late Oct. Can't wait!!!! It will be the final major mod for my GT4 transformation project, LOL

After that, I think I will get 2020 GT4 PCCB pads, as I am not sure if there was a change or not for 2022, however it will allow me to know for sure and MAYBE get better braking from the pre-copper free pads and also swap the fluid to Castrol SRF.

Does any one happen to know the decibel levels on the out side with OAP+Rear? I plan on going to Laguna Seca on a 103 DB and hoping that it won't be a problem.

I added the inconel headers last weekend to go with the OAP and rear mufflers. Very happy with the sound. Sounds almost the same with valves closed but really screams with them open when you get on it. Definitely feels a bit more free-revving with the headers.

@MaddMike

What do we have here???

I have never dabbled in street bikes, only a few YZ dirt bikes . . . but that thing looks like it is going about 100mph just sitting in your garage.

I've passed at 103 going up the hill after turn 4. No issues. Seems totally impossible on a 92dB day though. Worst case, just have your valves set closed and iy wont be an issue.

Well, got the Kline Inconel installed.

Only driving to grab lunch so far , but holy sh*t, WOW, sounds so amazing!!!

just the perfect amount of volume, not obnoxious, but just enough.

High pitched, exotic, sophisticated sound. Valves always open is just perfect.

Big shout out to Eric @Supreme for the awesome pricing , it was great meeting you in person. Kim was awesome as well. 1st class shop with a beautiful garage bay and lobby.

Now the journey back home from So. Cal to N. Cal.
