See my post on the other thread regarding this, might find it interesting.

That’s probably the best stock exhaust sound clips I’ve heard. I assume it is stock, doesn’t say otherwise.

And I got to see some exquisite driving gloves that Grandma knitted.

Funny!
Driving gloves were invented when steering wheels were metal.
Now with leather or Alcantara there's no point, and you may actually get less grip when using them.

Yes, the underlying sound signature is good. And, yes, it is muffled; must be stock. Mic placement is a big variable. Now, if we can maintain the same sound signature and curve, amplify it and bring back up/down shift sounds.............!!!!

Hi Everyone. I just released my first video of my new exhaust. Currently it's very difficult to make videos as we have a very strict lockdown policy here in South Africa. I promise to make more and better videos soon. Enjoy for now.

You just did the rear muffler? How much louder is it compared to stock before?

Yes, I just did the rear muffler. It's definitely louder but it sounds so much better. The Racing Switch is a muffler/pipe combo, so it won't sound as raw as a straight pipped exhaust. I didn't want to purchase the Racing Pure from them as I would prefer to remove the OPF and install sport cats at a later stage. I often leave early mornings.

on on a scale from 1 - 10 for volume stock being a 3 ,what would you rate your exhaust volume wise?

I would say a 6,5. There is definitely room for more. What is a 10 if I may ask?

My 991.2 gt3 with a straight pipe exhaust ( side and centre delete ) that is VERY LOUD ,9.5/10 I’d say. I’ve ordered the schmid pure racing exhaust ,and opf delete pipe hopefully it can replicate the volume ,and sound of my gt3. That is the gold standard for flat 6 porsche sound for me.

I’m glad I was conservative with my rating 😅. Wow your GT3 must sound amazing! Stefan Schmid will be releasing a video of a GT4 with my exhaust, OPF deletes and sport cats next week. It was for a Swiss customer of his. Can’t wait to hear that.

thanks Alex. Could you please share pictures of the Schmidt exhaust?
From a sound quality (tone, pitch, drone) how would you describe it?

Unfortunately, I've been asked not to show any photos online. Wish I could. The system has no drone. The car sounds deeper now, has more bass and the pitch is higher in the revs. But the OPF’s are definitely preventing this new engine to sing its true song. It also sounds less turbo charged, which I think was the old systems layout? With OPF deletes and sport/race cats it will sound perfect! I need to make more videos.
