718 GT4RS

My GT4 RS wish list contains eliminate all rubber in suspension, reduced weight (-100kg), lighter crankshaft + connecting rods + pistons, improved cylinder heads + intake + exhaust, higher max rev, shorter and tighter transmission gear ratios, LWFW, manual 6-speed, maybe a little more aero.
I would pay US$200k for it.

Time will tell, but I'll be well and truly shocked, if Porsche sacrifices the iconic GT3 to the GT4 Unicorn.

So what’s a PDK GT4 with CF roof, frunk panel, (maybe fenders), less insulation, call it 8700rpm 475hp engine, with some more aero including a carbon fiber wing and suspension tweaks worth to you?

Guys...time to put your feet on the ground again. What some of you are asking is like Nissan doing a 370Z with better performance than a GTR, a Civic Type R better than a NSX...it ain't going to happen no matter the price.
You have to keep in mind that manufacturers have a model hierarchy for a reason, including ones like Porsche and other higher end manufacturers...this is not about making money with a single, limited model it's about the long term strategy of the whole brand/models.
The only option I see is if they make it a very limited number, like 500 to 900, of the GT4RS but again your are sabotaging your GT model lineup.
If they do make it, which I still have my doubts even what some well inform people here say or saw, my best guess it will have a modest bump in power (max 30 hp), lighter weight/aero and tuned suspension.
PAG needs you to want to upgrade to a GT3, GT3RS, GT2RS or whatever GT car they come up that's placed above the GT4 models, remember that!

just spoke to my dealer. so they have no official allocations yet, as you all know. I am number 3 on their list. The other 2 were 918 buyers/customers out of state. He said there is still the 10 year grandfather rule that 918 buyers get preference on all allocations. He said he is going to call NA ordering to see if theres any updates and call me back. he said he expects it to be a summer/fall 2021 car. he said they will bend over backwards on this car for people they know will drive it. they don't want garage queens on this one, as it's the closest thing they'll be able to sell to porsche customer racing/clubsport program. basically, this will be much nearer to a 718 clubsport than a GT3RS is to a GT3 Cup.

For a GT4RS to be a 2021 summer/fall launch you would be seeing final production vehicles, slightly disguised doing countless laps at the ring....like all GT cars.
Take for example that GT3......it's still what, a full year away?....but you keep seeing it week after week at the ring gathering data and testing new setups.
Any Porsche with a GT badge...specially and RS...will be tested at the ring until it falls apart......Ring numbers are important for Porsche Motorsports and they need to make sure the car delivers.

not what he told me. i.e. they'll take a car for every 918 buyer. whether they purchase or not, they still get the car and allocation gets passed down to the next in line. but he said right now nobody has a clue about number/allocations/etc. he said he was calling NA ordering to get an update and would call me back around noon today.
