i don't need to hold my breath. i've bought 9 cars from them in 3 years and referred like 20 sales to them in the same period... i'll be the first to get a car from them after 918 buyers. when orders open, i'll place it. i hope it's late 2021.

I was simply stating Porsche isn’t going to tell your sales guy anything, that’s all.

If this gt4rs will be a focused drive-to-track track car, hence practically useless for backroads, then how many buyers will actually use it vs "collectors" and cars-and-coffee buyers to whom the car's biggest appeal (and bragging right) is how difficult it was to get? This, in a sea of thousands of barely driven gt3/rs available well below MSRP. Not that there's anything wrong with it...

Was his nose growing when he told you that bolded part? Porsche and it's minions are totally full of shiite when they say stuff like this. They've said it for years and yet they still allow VIPs (both 918 guys and others) who intend to barely drive the cars get the first spots in line. I'll believe this one when I see it. And when I don't see dozens of used GT4RS's for sale with 3,000 miles five years from now...

For every VIP that buys the RS cars to drive, there are two that buy them just to stick them in a hangar somewhere and sell them three years later with 2,000 miles on them.

y'all are bitter. literally have a great relationship with my dealer for 6 years and spend a crapload of money with them. of course good customers will get preference, there can still be enough good customers who are both garage queens and drivers to exceed the allocations.

You can't launch a car without proper testing and the black car is not being submitted to the usual testing for production cars...including GT/GTRSs. No way they could had launched in 2020 and with the GT4 PDK entering sales.
The production delay could be 2 months, maybe.....my GT4 PDK allocation was supposed to be September and got moved to November.
We are all recycling rumors about the car, specs, launch dates etc.....not enough facts. When Porsche publishes launch dates I'll believe

i have nothing to brag about. my point is just people act like it's impossible. these are the same people who who buy every car from a different dealer every time to save $500-$1,000. send your SA a bottle of wine once in a while. build relationships. stay loyal. it'll get reciprocated.

I don't have that problem...there's only one dealer in the whole Island!

PDK or manual? My V250 (PDK) was 9/11 and I haven't heard any change.

PDK - that was the only line that changed - the rest of the dates are still the same. Could be an error but time will tell. If mine gets delayed it’s fine as I can’t drive it in winter anyways. Earliest 2021 models can take delivery is 12/4 according to my SA via Porsche.
