Enjoy

Pause at the 34 sec mark. Interesting to see full Race-Tex on the dash and what looks to be matte carbon fibre trim with what appears to be GT4 RS badging on the trim.

1:02 mark shows unique seat inserts

1:19 mark shows what looks like the GT3 PDK gear lever so perhaps it's using the same transmission?

Not possible for mid-engined and rear-engined chassis to share same transmission (rotation would be backwards), but it could be very similar...

Nope - at very minimum it went to 8,800 (but I think 9k)

Test car has radio delete.

Car behind AP appears to have camo on side front fenders covering possible vents up.

Centerlocks.

That lap was a total throwback, have gotten so used to seeing the 991.2 GT3 RS and the 992 GT3 on board videos where the cars were planted through the various sections.

The GT4 RS on the other hand takes a while to settle down after going through the same sections of the track, the car was constantly wobbling, great time set by the driver under such conditions.

Better tyres for sure help a lot to cut lap time. Imagine if they used A050 tyres, cut another 10 seconds or more!

Gearing def changed. Looks like 2nd gear is around 66 or 67mph based on the 2-3 shift at about 107km. 3-4 shift at about 95mph. Should be a lot more engaging on the street too.
2-3 around 67.
3-4 around 95.
4-5 around 121.
5-6 around 147.
6-7 around 167.

That spider RS maybe the collectors gem depending on how many made.
I sold my Speedster because it was too costly for how little I use it. A Spyder RS would be a special keeper.

I agree. The hard part is which of those to get if one of the lucky few that has those options. I assume the 50RS, Spyder RS and GT1?

Any interested stuff on the GT1?

I also heard a 917 street car was in the works.

Awesome, great to see some official content on the car. November launch confirmation too!

Wonder what the price differential will be between GT4 and RS. Allocation volumes.

There's always something to wonder about with Porsche and always something to be excited about.

So... 991.2 GT3 time was 8 seconds slower. On this huge track... how much of that is made up with the C2R tires? Are they pretty much equal or is the 4RS faster?
