I’m in the #2 spot at my dealership as well and paid no ADM for my ‘21 Spyder so why would this be so dramatically different?

When I got my GT4, I put down the dealership's minimum deposit for a 992 GT3 and asked to have it count towards a GT4 RS in the meantime. Looking at my SA's unofficial list at the time, I was at least one of the first 10 customers. It was an extremely small amount compared to what it's now. My deposit probably doesn't mean sh*t now haha.

Not sure deposits ever mean much until you have a order number.

One could dream. Get a GT4 RS allocation, drop this 4.5 liter engine in it with new transmission gearing (for PDK), and then go out and be a terror.

You don't have to dream...just buy a nice used 981 GT4 (or GTS if you want PDK but will need more upgrades in other areas) and drop it at BGB or DeMan....not even the 4RS or the 992 GT3 will be able to touch it...and you can always say it's a stock 3.8 with bolt ons!!!!

Of course stealers will ask for ADMs and there will be desperate buyers who will pay the asking ADMs, just like all the other GT cars that have come out.

Yep. If a dealer gets 3 allocations and has 35 people wanting to buy a 4RS, how do you suggest they handle it?

Have a party at the dealership with sim racing rigs. Have everyone race the same track with the same car. Top 3 lap times get allocations.

Have a few friends do a Verstappen on the others so you can get a P3.
