I was fortunate enough to be offered a number of cars that are on the ground now, but have opted to wait for my allocated and specified GT4.

John Wright at Porsche of North Houston is a consummate professional and was able to get me a build slot.

He has cars available NOW and can be reached at:

JWright@porscheofnorthhouston.com

Happy hunting!

Is anyone getting pushed around on a trade by their dealer? I think I'm still OK paying MSRP for my Spyder (supposed to be an early July delivery-- not sure now), but I'm worried that my dealer is going to give me the, "... well market conditions are blah blah blah so we can't give you as much for your trade, but we can't discount the Spyder either...." talk track. Of course I'm going to try to first sell privately, but trading my current P car was always an option as selling privately comes with its own set of issues.

I went out to Porsche North Houston to check out their cars and they do indeed have cars available...6 Spyders and 2 GT4's. John Wright may be the nicest "car guy" sales person that I've ever had a chance to meet and talk with. Just wonderful. I finally got a change to sit in a GT4 as I was able to sit in the yellow one. Also got to finally try the buckets. They seem comfy for the few minutes I was in them but getting out of them was comical. Started the car up but due to the proximity of other cars I didn't take a video. I did take a few pics of the cars though. My visit made me even more anxious for my car to get here. I'm getting a GT4 but honestly, that silver Spyder on the showroom floor took my breath away!

Wow, that's a lot! Oil biz there must be down into the abyss. The rest of the country can't be much better either.

I did not. But that Spyder had me thinking seriously about it. Gonna stick with my GT Silver, GT4 allocation and hope that the next four months quickly pass by.

Crikey! it is no wonder that the rest of us couldn't get our customer ordered cars built before shutdown!!!

PCNA could have had 6 sales in the bank already...

Were they open to negotiate below MSRP?

They're all nice builds, so I'll guess they're not going to have much trouble selling them. The Gentian blue car is very high spec though; gonna take the right buyer.

If the white/ classic had a standard black top, I would’ve pulled the trigger. My family unanimously gave the red top a big thumbs down 👎!
This still would’ve been a compromise on my part as I wanted a gentean blue.

I didn’t talk money or prices. My allocation is at a different dealer. I just wanted to finally lay my eyes on some cars first hand.
