Mine didn't make a ship and is at port in Germany. 15MAY originally, now showing 05JUN. Seems like an earlier build than jvmax, so maybe the view hadn't updated yet as of whenever my SA pulled the info. I emailed the performance delivery center to see if they had any info on scheduling deliveries.

Default GT4 delayed!

I first inquired about getting on the “list” back in April 2019. Once Porsche said they were taking orders in June I completed my build and took it to the dealer. They told me they didn’t have allocations yet but would let me know. I checked in periodically only to be told “still waiting on allocations”. Summer came & went. I started to give up hope . In November I received the call. The dealer had 2 allocations. The owner had one and I had the other! I placed the order at MSRP. It was set to lock in Feb. I made some changes and was told lock was pushed out from mid Feb to late Feb. Then it was March. It locked on March 10 V250. I was just told today it’s now Aug 14! Unbelievable...

Not sure why you are so upset. There are plenty that were on a list way before you. Not surprised your order was shifted when you updated your build. I have had that happen before and so have others. It’s known that this happens. All parts are on demand supplied... so when you shift plans, their supplier have to adjust as well creating delays. Your last delay is obvious from the factory shut down due to Covid-19. You aren’t the only one that is having delays. Personally, I actually can’t believe you are complaining considering the state of everything going on.

looks like my info was a little wrong, left emden on 3/17, arrived in Jax on 4/1, update delivery date 5/1, but might be sooner as GT4 on sale date is now 4/17

Awesome! Hope you get the car soon. Once you get the car, can you update us on whether the exhaust valves close between 2500RPM and 4000RPM? I’m concerned that the U.S. cars also have this behavior.

This is what I'm trying to figure out. My car was V260 mid March. Wondering if it was completed right before shutdown.
The Sales manager is the only point of contact right now at my dealer. Wrote him yesterday.
I'll keep everyone posted. Might be helpful for others with similar time frames.

If your actual V260 is mid-March (I'm in the same boat), your car is probably still somewhere along the assembly line. From the build sheets I've seen, it takes about 3 to 4 weeks (for the GT4 at least) to go from V260 to V300. If you were V300 prior to the shutdown, there might be a chance you're at Emden, on a boat or landed in the destination port. My revised expected V300 date just prior to the shutdown (still waiting on an update from my dealer) is May 1 which goes around with the projected delay (+- 7 days) due to the factory shut down IF it's back online next week.

Prior to the Covid-19 ordeal, when was the last time you checked your schedule? I wonder if at some point your schedule was moved up and you or your dealership wasn't aware? If it's true, a very nice surprise for you!

Hi Everyone...new member here. I too have an allocation that originally showed V260 on 5/1 and V300 on 5/8. So I was under the assumption that the actual build took about a week. Haven't gotten any revised dates but I'm sure it's well pushed back now.

Is this for a Spyder or a GT4? I'm guessing Spyder, that would be in-line with what other people have shared on their estimated build timelines.

Sorry...should have stated in my post. It’s actually for a GT4. Was supposed to be V260 on 5/1....and be at my dealer by 7/3.
