@Prime I'm not much further north than you. How about a dashing English driving cap? With a scarf in the winter. And max AC in the summer.
Our first venture out once the green machine arrives will likely be the Hill Country roads and Fredricksburg. Do y'all have an active PCA around Austin?

Anyone heard when the next round of allocations might be released? Asking that with the hope that there is another round! Also, any real confirmation of a MY23? I saw some earlier posts suggesting it, but didn't see any concrete evidence.

Yes, being told 718 does continue into 2023--4.0 versions a safe bet; I'm not aware of any confirmations on the 2.0 or 2.5 motors.

Bummer regarding the price increase, but I figured that was coming based on how the market has been. I'm just thankful most signs are pointing towards production of the GT4/Spyder for MY23.

Was the price increase last time, on the GT cars, about $1000?

I'm expecting a 5-7% increase in MSRP for MY23. Anything less and I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Hopefully someone here can answer this: I ordered a GTS 4.0 back in 2020 in June, it was delivered in October as a 2021 after the factory August shutdown. The price did not change from the time I ordered it. When do the price increases generally become effective?
Is it always with the new model year or is it tied to a fiscal year at Porsche or at the end of the calendar year? For sure if the price changes on the configurator, then it is a done deal.
Just curious but I have no idea if the pricing changes are at a specific time, as my car was ordered in 2020 and delivered as a 2021 model with no price difference.
Thanks in advance

I read on a Facebook Spyder forum that Porsche has canceled all pending and future sales of 718 GT4, Spyder and RS cars in Europe for the time being. Two members of the forum from Switzerland each confirmed they had heard the same thing from their dealers and the original poster claims to work for a parts supplier to PAG with the inside track. Just what I heard. Anyone here in Europe and can confirm or refute?

there’s no way that’s true. It might be possible they aren’t offering new allocations for the next several months. A lot of folks don’t expect more allocations until fall.

I didn’t say I believed it but merely reiterated what I had heard. My sales guy did not deny it and seemed to have some knowledge about it that he wasn’t imparting to me. Just because it’s on Facebook doesn’t mean it’s not true.
